Strawhats in New York

It was a typical day at sea for the Strawhat Pirates.

"Grrr" A quartet of stomachs growled in unison "Sanji foood" the voices rang out.

"Hold your horses everyone lunch is almost ready" the overworked chef sighed and continued moving about his kitchen.

"I want Meat" Luffy whined.

"I want carrots" Carrot cried.

"I want cotton candy" Chopped groaned.

"I . . . don't have a favorite food do I" Usopp wondered?

"Will, you lot shut up" Sanji knocked the three men on their heads, before turning to the beautiful rabbit mink "don't worry Carrot-Chan I'm making a special salad just for you."

"Yay" she screamed jumping him "Garchu!"

"Garchu" Sanji rubbed his face against hers with hearts in his eyes!

"Oi, Sanji stop perving and make our food" Usopp challenged.

"Yeah" Luffy and Chopper joined him.

"Tch, you heathens clearly don't appreciate the intricacies of Mink culture" Sanji scoffed before going back to his cooking.

Meanwhile out on the deck Robin and Nani were sunbathing and drinking ice tea while Brook serenaded them with one of his songs.

"The weather is lovely today isn't it Nami?"

"It really is" the navigator smiled " I can't remember the last time we've had such a nice day since entering the New World. Not to mention the few times the weather was nice we were run for our lives."

"Indeed It is quite nice to be able to relax for once" Brook added after finishing his song "In fact today is so nice there is only one thing that could make it better. Ms.Nami could I please see your panties?"

"You know what Brook Okay, I'm in such a good mood right now I'm going to let you."

"Re-re-re-re-really" Brook shouted with his eye sockets widening in shock!"

"Hehe" Nami giggled "no."

"Oh" Brook somehow blinked "You got me Nami, my heart nearly stopped. Oh but, I don't have a heart Yohohoho skull joke!"

Up in the crows nest an intense three way showdown was going on. Franky, Jinbei, and Zoro were in a the middle of one of the most stressful moments of their lives.

Franky gulped a bead of sweat falling down his cheek "I fold" he said slamming his cards on the table clearly frustrated.

Jinbei on the other hand appeared calm at least on first glance. In actuality though if you looked closely he was shaking slightly, whether it was in excitement or nervousness though no one knew.

"Four of a kind" Jinbei layed his cards down showing four aces. While playing his cards the former Warlord paid special attention to the swordmans expression. However, the man remained as stoic as ever with not a single flicker of emotion being seen on his face.

Zoro suddenly smiled and revealed his hand "Royal Flush."

"What" Franky and Jinbei exclaimed in shock!

"I guess the liquor mine now" Zoro laughed.

"This is completely unfair" Franky protested "he hasn't lost a single game."

"He has the devils luck, just like our Captain" Jinbei sighed.

"Whatever" Franky pouted "listen up Zoro you won fair and square so the liquor is yours, just be sure to savor it after all it's one of a kind."

"Indeed" Jinbei add "it is the Legendary Millennium Liquor made from a special fruit that takes 300 years to grow, 300 years to ripen, 300 years to ferment, and another 100 years to be bottled."

Franky nodded "The Minks gave this to us as a symbol of thanks for saving their country, be sure to treasure it because . . . Ahhhhhh what are you doing!?"

"Gulp gulp gulp, ahh" Zoro wiped his face off with his sleeve "sorry were you saying something?"

"The Strawhats huh, interesting. They will make an good addition to my game, neither good or evil they walk their own unique path. I can't wait to see what they will bring."

The mysterious figure smiled and snapped his fingers causing the world to be bathed in endless light.

"My head" Luffy groaned slowly coming to "what happened?"

Looking around it looked like he was on top of a building. Luffy jumped to his feet and moved his hat onto his head.

He walked towards the edge of the roof to try and get a grasp of where he was but, stopped cold after seeing what was below him.

The sun was just setting over New York and the light reflecting back and forth off the skyscrapers created a beautiful rainbow effect.

"Whoa" Luffy gaped in amazement he had never been anywhere like this place before.

He had traveled all over the world and to places most people could only dream of but, this place was something different.

The buildings were taller than any he'd seen before almost like mountains and looked like they were made of glass.

Luffy held his chin in thought this place was amazing and all but, as captain he knew his first priority should be finding his crew, and then figuring out what happened.

"Grrr" he knew finding his crew and figuring out what happened was his first priority, after he looked for something to eat.

Luffy looked away from the beautiful skyline and down to the streets below. He could see hundreds of people walking back and forth but, they weren't what caught his attention. It was the strange carts that interested him, there was nothing pulling them!

His eyes glittered and he couldn't hold himself back and leapt off the skyscraper falling 50 stories to the streets below.

Luffy slammed into the sidewalk cracking the cement.

The terrified people around his landing stumbled away.

Ignoring them Luffy locked onto a passing car and stretched out his arms to grab its bumper. Letting it stretch them out before using the tension to launch itself onto the car's roof.

His feet dented the roof and the driver slammed on his brakes causing the car behind to crash into his bumper.

"Oi" Luffy bent over and knocked on the windshield "I want to ask you something."

The driver paralyze in fear had no idea what to do, and everyone who saw what happened started murmuring.

"Did you see that!"

"His arms stretched!"

"He must be a Mutant!"

"S-somebody call the police!"

Luffy tired of being ignored slammed his fist against the glass cracking it "HEY, pay attention I'm talking to you!"

The man finally snapped out of his shock and bolted bolted out of the car. Wanting nothing to do with Luffy. But, before he could get far he felt something tightening around his waist before being lifted up onto the car's roof with Luffy.

The man looked down and saw Luffy's arm wrapped around him like a grotesque snake. The man started screaming and the crowd seeing this panicked, they knew better that to stay around when there was a villain in the area.

Luffy used his free hand to rub his pinky in his ear the man's screaming was getting on his nerves. So he unleashed the tiniest piece of his Conquerors Haki possible to calm him down.

The man became a bleary eyed and quieted down.

"I wanted to ask two things first what am I'm standing on? Does it use invisible horses?"

The man regained some awareness and look at Luffy in fear but, still hurried to answer his question "It's called a car and no there aren't any invisible horses."

Luffy looked a little disappointed at the but, still asked his next question "Ok, then do you know where there's any food?"

"I-I think there was a hotdog cart a couple blocks that way" the man motioned with his head.

"I see thanks for everything mister" Luffy smiled at him before dropping the man and running towards the so called hot dogs. He had never eaten a dog but, any meat is good meat.

Luffy laughed and continued to run head first into traffic completely unaware of the chaos he was causing.

Zoro woke up in a crater with a splitting headache and a loud ringing in his ears.

"That Millennium Liquor or whatever must really pack a punch to give 'me' a hangover" he thought.

He sat up an shook his head trying to get his bearings.

All he could see around him was the crater he made. So he extended his Observation Haki to speed things up.

"Shit" Zoro cursed!

His Haki was telling him that he was on some kind of ship and that there were around 3,000 crewing it.

That wasn't the problem though, the problem was how those 3,000 people were moving. They were all running around in single file lines and standing in formations. There is only one group in the entire world that trains their men to move like that, and that was the Marines.

Franky woke up to someone yelling in his face, it was an orange rock monster.

He wanted to ask where he was but, before he could Franky vaguely heard the rock man mentioning something about ruining his perfect game and calling him a bucket of bolts.

And Franky reacted the same way he normally does when a stranger insults him or his friends, he threw a punch.

Tony Stark had actually managed to drag himself out of Avengers Tower to go on patrol as Ironman. Unfortunately for him not long after he left an alarm was triggered at his civilian home nearby, telling him someone had broken in.

He flew up to the roof where the sensors were tripped and saw a huge hole in his tower. Flying in he saw a strange white and yellow blue ransacking what was left of his kitchen.

Readying his repulsers Tony called out "Freeze!"

Hearing his voice the white blue stopped moving and a pair of long ears popped up from behind him counter.

"Crap, it's gonna be one of those nights isn't it" Ironman cursed seeing the bunny girl casually chewing on a carrot she stole from his fridge.

Usopp and Chopper were cowering behind Sanji as a savage looking man with metallic claws for hands was staring them down.

"Who are you and why did you break into our mansion" ask a young man who was glaring at the with his pair of sunglasses glowing an ominous shade of red.

Brook had no idea what happened one moment he was enjoying the sunshine with Nami and Robin, and the next moment he's falling from the sky.

He landed in a tree and was currently trying to find his way down without getting branches stuck in his afro.

"What happened Robin" Nami asked?

"I don't know" replied the raven haired woman "but, we seem to be inside of a museum."

"A Museum" Nami's eyes lit up "do you think there are diamonds!"

"I don't know but, before we do anything else perhaps we can inquire with her for more information" Robin pointed at a woman in a black and white cat suit lying unconscious underneath the skylight they just crashed through.

Jinbei was running for his life from a group of guards who were firing on him and shouting at him to stop

"Sigh, why did it have to be another prison."

Nick Fury was standing in his command center on board the Helicarrier and looking over all of the alerts he had just gotten.

"Crap, it's going to be one of those nights isn't it."
