Steal my Boy

When Beomgyu got abducted, everyone and their mother were in total panic. The whole city did a search and rescue for a whole week with countless volunteers yet no one ever found even the slightest trace of him. Choi Beomgyu is a 21 year old campus crush who have been within minds at least once by any type of gender in the Capital’s largest Conservatory. Tall, honey-skinned and extremely handsome, this extroverted yet hopelessly romantic and funny individual is the talk of the town ever since he transferred to the Music school after losing interest on the course his parents wanted for him. Everything went smooth for a while, until he attracted the attention of the person who will make him question his life’s decision. Note: Only the main characters descriptions are made to be realistic but the plot, events, places etc. are all fiction. The story would look confusing at first but I’ll reveal answers as chapters go by. Thank you for your patience.

Weekend, Week End

Taehyun pov

It's been a week and still no sign of the student we've been searching for. The volunteers are losing hope in finding him and it's taking toll on their bodies.

Just watching the crowd get smaller as day pass by, I won't be surprised if they all give up and move on with their busy lives starting tonight.

Especially when Sunday is supposed to be a Family Day.

Truth be told I'd rather solve cases where the crimes impact more people than finding a person who has the possibility to have sneaked past our radars just to either run away with or run away from someone.

I brushed my palms all over my face in frustration. If this continues this will become our first unsolved case after months of hard-work to put up a flawless performance on the job.

I swear, if this boy turns out to be sipping his tea in some beach faraway, I'll be the one to strangle him.

My train of thoughts were interrupted by a shadow entering the apartment. There's still time for the people to gather because I had chosen to come here an hour early while my partner is still dozing off his bed.

I gotta give it to him though, since he was working on a lead while I was busy checking files to save time and he got depleted this afternoon.

I looked around and saw no one in the vicinity to worry about once the said person tends to be a trespasser. Considering it's a must to take an attendance check with me first at the guard's post before anyone is allowed to go upstairs or enter the elevator.

I held my billy club just in case I'm dealing with the perpetrator who came back to tamper with evidence we have not yet come across with.

Looks like the lack of crowd tonight has given them the opportunity to get in without being seen. And to think that person won't even walk normally says a lot.

There's no fucking way a resident would walk on cemented stairs without getting their steps echoing the empty corridors. I was so sure I'll catch them off guard when I arrived at the top floor but I found myself looking at the ceiling a second later.

"Oof-"

I thought as I groan in pain coming from the back of my head. The embarrassing fall left a growing swell and my vision got a little bit blurry.

What the fuck? Did I just fell on my back? I muttered that question under my breath as I was about to sit up, however, something hit my head again and everything went black.
