Steal my Boy

When Beomgyu got abducted, everyone and their mother were in total panic. The whole city did a search and rescue for a whole week with countless volunteers yet no one ever found even the slightest trace of him. Choi Beomgyu is a 21 year old campus crush who have been within minds at least once by any type of gender in the Capital’s largest Conservatory. Tall, honey-skinned and extremely handsome, this extroverted yet hopelessly romantic and funny individual is the talk of the town ever since he transferred to the Music school after losing interest on the course his parents wanted for him. Everything went smooth for a while, until he attracted the attention of the person who will make him question his life’s decision. Note: Only the main characters descriptions are made to be realistic but the plot, events, places etc. are all fiction. The story would look confusing at first but I’ll reveal answers as chapters go by. Thank you for your patience.

Aiding and Abetting pt.2

A/N:

I apologize for deleting the new chapter. I saw it was included in volume 2 instead of 3 so I had to remove it. I don't understand how it happened but I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience.

Cass's pov

"Wait Beomgyu, you don't even know him-"

"I can say the same to my own father." The intensity of his gaze at me was more than enough to make me swallow the rest of my words back down my throat.

"Apparently he's a big time smuggler disguised as a businessman." The cop kept fueling the fire and I'm getting pissed for it. It seems like he's doing it on purpose.

"Yes he is." Beomgyu confirmed without batting an eye which shocked the both of us. "Which means there's a possibility that the payment for your services came from the blood of his victims. Are you really going to work for me despite everything?"

I can tell the cop was literally caught off guard due to his expressive round eyes but he tried hard to compose himself.

"I don't mind doing it for free." He smiled and looked at me. "It was my fault for breaking the law. However, you have to shoulder my food expenses at least since you were the cause of all these."

I rolled my eyes in return.

"I'm afraid she won't be around after today so I'll cover that with my own savings." Beomgyu offered.

"Why?" He asked but a knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

His partner, which I've considered as the public enemy number one showed up and reported that there was a commotion at the lobby because a group of men are being rude to the receptionists.

"Please excuse us." He smiled awkwardly then pulled the shorter guy's left arm and brought him to the corner. "It looks like they're his father's henchmen. Are you sure you're gonna do this?"

"Yeah."

"What if they find out your real identity?"

"So be it. It's not like I have bad intentions."

"They won't believe you."

"I know."

"You still have time to change your mind."

"Nah I'm good."

The guy with the undercut hair sighed in defeat.

"Be careful. Especially on her."

He sent me a meaningful glance before leaving the room. I returned it with a glare, thinking he'd say something stupid again but to my surprise, he just left silently.

Not long after, the door opened again and his father entered the room along with a heavy atmosphere behind him. I politely greeted him and he simply nodded. His bodyguards remained outside, thankfully, or else we would look like some can of sardines.

"Cassandra," Beomgyu's mom called and I had no choice but to talk to her on a leather bench at the corner wall outside.

"You should go home and take a rest." She said worriedly and squeezed my hands softly. "We'll handle everything from here."

I forced a smile because I had no idea how to open the conversation about the agreement and keep a straight face while at it.

"Are you out of your mind?!" I flinched at Beomgyu's father's raspy voice yelling inside. "And here I thought you finally learned your fucking lesson!"

Every inch of my body wants to get back in there but his mom grabbed my arm and shook her head.

"Let's get ourselves something to drink at the cafeteria." She suggested instead and gestured the guards to leave us alone. Her personal bodyguard followed, but he kept his distance.

"I know what my boy did was upsetting and for me to ask so much from you is unfair but I want you to know that I'm very grateful for all the things you've done for my son."

This is it. I thought. I had to take a deep breath because the preparations are almost eighty seven percent done. The amount of money they spent for the wedding could literally buy someone else's dream house.

We're at the point where I'm just waiting for my customized mermaid lace dress full of precious stones to arrive in time for the wedding and here I am, about to ruin everything for her and everyone else who participated from planning to rehearsals.

"It's nothing Mrs. Choi. But I'm sorry to say that I'm calling the wedding off." I held my breath and waited on her response.

To be continued…
