"Huh?" I mumbled as I woke up in what seemed to be space, confusion and apprehension taking over my senses.
In any direction all there was was darkness, with small dots like stars in the distance.
'' where the hell am i, the last thing i remember ... '' I grabbed my head in the hope of pushing away the confusion and pulling the memories back.
I was returning from the office at night, when I saw two thugs trying to drag a girl into an alley, if it was a simple assault on a man I would simply call the police and ignore it later.
but there was no way I could ignore a girl when I was perfectly capable of taking them both down, they didn't seem to be armed and with the training I received so hard from my time in the army, I really managed to get them down, but when I was trying to calm the girl down I just heard one gunshot sound and then... pain.
Looking back the last thing I saw was a third thug, and judging by the phone in his left hand and the gun in his right pointing at me, he just stayed behind for a call and I didn't notice him.
"So I died? Is this the place where all the dead go? Why am I the only one here?"

'' huh? '' I mumbled when I saw what looked like a text box floating in front of me. '' So this is not the way to heaven or hell? ''

"Damn you can't be more specific? If I'm dead, what is this place?" I almost shouted a little annoyed by the not very informative text.

"wait, what new world would that be? and why do i have to be a hero? don't tell me i'm going to have to fight a damn demon king in a medieval world?" I said trying to suppress my panic for having just die and get new information.

"So what world am I going to be in? Can you try to be a little more informative? Or maybe just talk?" I say with growing frustration at the short answers.

"Whew much better, but star wars huh, I was a big fan as a teenager, although I don't remember much at this point" I say as I finally get little information, and at the same time try to remember everything I knew about Star Wars.

This time, along with a text box, a huge list of the races that exist in the star wars universe appeared in front of me.
