Special Corporation

I woke up in a daze, on a bed that creaks at the slightest move, The room itself is empty with only a single metal door and a mirror in sight. I try to get off the bed as I limply fell over flat on my face only barely preventing my head from hitting the tiled floor with my hands.

I try to recall memories from before I woke up putting my hand on my forehead.. I felt nauseous as I attempt to remember the events before I ended up in this room.

"I can't..." I grunted as I leaned on a nearby wall.

My whole body felt stiff. Eventually, for what felt like hours I finally calmed down and the throbbing in my head had pass, I can tolerate it enough to at least walk around the room.

I saw a card on the bed to which I picked up reading its contents. It had a picture of a person, a name, and a blank empty box just under the name."[Lucas] That's clearly wrong-! my name is... it's..." I muttered under my breath. I know it's the wrong name but, how? I can clearly tell it's not my name but somehow I can't seem to remember what it used to be.

"Damn, what the hell is happening?!?"

Trying to gather my thoughts I went over to the mirror aching pain made me grunt as I moved towards it. I get a clear view of my face. It was strange, it felt like my first time seeing it yet it was also familiar.

Short pale blonde hair, long lashes, Eyes differently colored in a shade of blue and red independently on each side. I touched my face as if making sure what I am looking it is real. I sighed before pushing on the iron door.

It creaked open as I went outside, The place was spacious it almost looked like a testing facility but its empty not even as much as furniture aside from a large tv attached high up. Looking around and observing the other people while most of them were anxious, one person did stand out from the crowd of Panicking people.

It was a tall man with long black hair, for the most part his clothes give off a casual demeanor. Seems very approachable.

"Hey! can you tell me what's going on?"

He turned his head to me with a 'hm' sound before replying "Oh? What's wrong? you lost or something?"

"Yes I was just wondering where exactly I am?"

He looked at me with a concerned look on his face, They didn't seem to know how to answer my question."

Well can you tell me what we are gonna do here then?"

As he was about to answer, noise akin to gears and axels started to rumble around the room as it shook slightly from the moving parts.

"Oh Sorry dude can't answer for now you should listen."

Everyone's attention was caught by that tv descending from the ceiling. Meanwhile six Doors appeared in front of the room with numbers written in bold on top of its frame. The tv clicks open starting with static before eventually playing a recording.

"Welcome to the Siris training facility, Congratulations to the people who passed. From now on you will begin training as an agent under an overseer chosen for you."

A man whose face is covered with dark mask spoke through the recording, his aura was no joke I felt intimidation just hearing his voice.

"Now all of you must have gotten a card containing your personal information, I advise you don't disclose any of this to anyone. This card will act as not only your identification to access any of the facilities in Siris but also act as a container for your money in the form of digital currency."

Suddenly pedestals came out from the tiles directly in Infront of us, on top of it had what seemed to be a guide or a manual of some sort.

"This will help you in any inquiry you may have about the card and anything else you need to know. Now then I wish you all luck." The Screen slightly flashes before turning off and is retracted back to the ceiling. Only then does everyone pick up their respective guides.

I flipped through the pages skimming them slightly. It all sounded like non-sense to me, I didn't understand a single thing written on this guide book. I briefly flipped through pages as it shows images of different beasts, and unfamiliar markings. Turning the book over it had a code on the back cover. Realizing that the doors had a series of numbers I went to the door that matches the numbers on my book.

"Oh! looks like we're pairing up!" The man from earlier exclaimed.

"uh yeah! I guess?"

"By the way, Name's William nice to meet you..."

"Lucas" I answered him hesitantly.

He smiled and stopped at the door. I looked around seeing 2 other people whom I haven't seen yet as we squeezed through the room. A young girl and a particularly rough looking old man, his appearance in particular gave me chills.

The room was a tight fit... a really tight fit. I was stuck in the corner near the entrance barely hanging on to my breath.

"C-could one of you move a bit" William said in a breathless manner.

"What's the big Idea Jackass I already can't move any further!" The young woman from earlier shouted back. "Well, isn't this just perfect a bratty child didn't your parents teach you to respect your OW-!?". As if something snapped inside her, She bit Williams's arm in retaliation. "HAH-!? WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT RESPECT?!?"

Creak- The door opened, and we all fell out of the tightly enclosed space. With me at the bottom about to be crushed under the weight of 3 people. I clenched my teeth preparing for the fall- But surprisingly all of us were standing in a proper pose in a blink of an eye

.A man was standing in front of us in a very old timey looking attire. A trench coat, a top hat, slacks, and a cane that he held in front of him. "well well well! So you three are my new subordinates. Ohhh I must say you're all quite the unique bunch. Now what are your names?"

He asks everyone and one by one they all introduce themselves.

"Names William Sir!"

"Alice"

"Rein.."

I hesitated slightly keeping my mouth shut. I figured I should also introduce myself. But as I was about to, he laughed.

"Hoho! quite the cautious one I like this guy. anyway we should get moving... let's see here [Lucas]?" He said while he read the ID that I tucked into my pocket. Wait when did he get a hold of that?"

Now I should explain a few things before we get started! Now I trust you all know what a stigma is yes?". He threw my card away as it blinked out of reality and reappeared inside my pocket like a magic trick. While I was busy being confused, everyone else nodded to his question

"Good then we will begin with using those abilities to their absolute limits first thing in the morning! I suggest you all get a shut eye before it begins."

"YES!" They shout in unison fixing their pose.

"H-hey wait! I have a ques-!" As I held out my hand, I was suddenly in another room with not as much as an explanation as to what just happened. Well for now I should start reading whatever is in this guide.
