Chapter seven

Yuki was not taking my injury well and we had to return to the palace as quickly as we could, apparently, a princess from a faraway land was coming and Yuki had to greet her. I wanted to come to but he wouldn't let me and so Haru kept me company.

"Mama, Daddy really special. I don't think I'll like that Princess, cause in books I read the girl always tries to ruin relationships like mamas and daddy's." Haru Said.

"Haru, your to young for those stories," I replied.

Yuki entered the room with a pretty young woman who has pretty white skin with long black hair and beautiful eyes too.

"Princess, this is my wife and our son Haru." Yuki Said.

"Son? But he's a dragon." She Said.

"Yes, So what? Mama a dude and daddy are a dude so..what's wrong with me being a dragon?" Haru asked.

"Haru, I don't think she's ever seen a dragon before so she's probably confused that's all, don't take it to heart," I Said.

The Princess was not all she seems to be I bet you when Yuki leaves she'll break character, but for now, I'll let her play that little play of hers.

"Mama, you're too kind." Haru Said.

In the eyes of the Princess, Cielo looked like a pale pathetic man who has not male like features and was used as a card in a deck to strengthen the relationship of his family and the empire.

"Snowflake! Come meet Haru!" I called.

A wolf with Snow White fur came into the room.

"Haru this is a snowflake, are pet wolf. I saved him from getting killed by those mean merchants." I explained.

"Oh yeah Princess forgot to tell you we have a pet wolf, he's really nice though. Only killed one guy cause he tried to kill Ami in the dead of night." Yuki Said.

"Snowflake cute." Haru Said.

"Young master I can talk you know." Snowflake spoke.

"Wow, are wolf can talk that's cool," I Said.

"Master I've always been able to talk. I learned by all the maids and butlers, they told me that I should have proper manners." He explained.

"As expected of the maids and butlers. They never seem to lower your expectations." I replied.

"Cielo are you alright? Your laying in bed?" She asked.

"I'm fine, this is quite normal for me," I replied.

"Mama, I'm gonna get food and herbs from the forest." Haru Said.

"Be careful Haru, I don't want you to get hurt," I replied.

"I'll be fine, take care of your self for a while. Need anything and I'll come in a quick second." Haru Said.

He left the room and the Princess gaze became sharp and cold.

"Listen here, you pathetic excuse of a man. I'm gonna get you to break up with the prince and I'm getting him as a husband instead of you, I can't believe that old man had you married to him. That's nasty." She Said.

"Princess, you should watch your tone. That mouth of you could get you killed on the day." I replied.

My eyes glowed as she stepped back slowly then ran out of this room, she cursed under her breath and left the palace.

"What happened to the Princess?" He asked.

"She had something urgent to do," I replied.

"Huh? Guess she did." He replied.

'Master to scary, now I'll know never to get on his bad side.' Thought snowflake.

"Your highness, there a message for consort Cielo." A servant spoke.

"Leave." He replied.

He handed me the message.

'Ami, there's something you need to know. That's Princess you just met, I did a background check on her. She's a daughter of minster Wu in my court. She's come to see what you like. If she saw my brother then she'll definitely report to him and cause trouble. Make sure that no one does anything to him. I'll take care of things on my side, talk later meets at my kingdom three weeks from now.

"Huh? Typical I say so myself." I muttered.

"What does it say, mama? Are we going somewhere fun?" Haru asked.

"Yeah, three weeks from now," I replied.

"Three weeks is a long time from now, I guess I should get some food to make in the meantime." He replied.

He left as Haru followed him...

"Man there so troublesome, I guess that's my cue to leave," I muttered as I left the room.
