Short Encounter In Ramen Ichiraku in 1987

Boruto Uzumaki, 55 years of age, widower. His daughter is just seven years old. She can only speak in English. She haven't speak Chinese or Japanese yet. But, Boruto, as a fresh start in the Philippines, he rented in this apartment in Manila. There is a famous canteen, which is situated inside the apartment house. It is owned by a land lady.

He and his daughter always have a dine-in here in this famous canteen, together with their in-house nurse. Boruto at that time needs a nurse for his sick daughter. His sick daughter missed her mom. Boruto is just silent about the situation during that time. He doesn't want to speak anything to his daughter. What he wants during that time is to eat famous Filipino food?

Imagine, he is just starting a fresh in the country. He wants to explore the city. Every night, he dines in this famous canteen with his daughter. They said, this canteen is made for the employees who work during the night. Those must be the nurses, call center agents or the medical staffs at the hospital. The land lady is happened to be a famous doctor who has a clinic in the hospital.

On the third day, Boruto noticed something went wrong in the canteen. Why are there only few people dine in that canteen if it is for the customers who worked at night? And, even his daughter is amazed with the staffs. She has no idea what they are doing. But, she knew what she wants to become when she grows up. She wants to work in a canteen or restaurant someday if that right time would come.

They talked to the canteen owner. She said she could not accept his daughter as the canteen helper, as if she observes her that she is like a mute or stupid. During that time, his daughter doesn't know how to read nor write yet. She haven't gone to school yet.

Boruto is so disappointed. He assumed that he would not eat in this canteen again.

And, this daughter, who is also a cosplayer. She finds something in her cabinet to wear. She turns herself to become a famous Hollywood celebrity. And, she goes down to that canteen.

She said to the waitress, "What's the special menu for today?"

The waitress said, "Oh, we have Green Apple Cup Cakes."

She replied, "Green Apple? How does it taste like?"

"Oh, it is very delicious. It is our sell-able item in our canteen."

She shook her head, "Oh, I don't think that cup cake would be tasty. I don't like green apples."

The waitress asked, "What kind of apple do you like?"

She replied, "I loved red apples. I am Snow White."

And then she left. The waitress is just curious about this lovely visitor, the daughter of Boruto Uzumaki.
