Catherine's POV

That night, James and I discussed it until 3:00 in the morning. Not only did we make a detailed analysis of the comparison of the design drafts, but I also heard him share a lot of company management experience.

It was a business conversation but I couldn’t deny the connection we had that night.

We each returned to our rooms, and I lay in bed tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

I was surprised to find that I didn't seem to know about James.

When we were a couple before, I didn't care about his work. I never ask him about it. I never thought about how he managed such a big company in the past, as if it had nothing to do with me at that time.

"James," I silently read his name and took out my phone to send him a message: "I may be busy these days. If you have time, can you spend more time with the children?"
