CHAPTER THIRTY

The smell of burnt fur and blood was so thick that it made breathing difficult for me worse than it already was, all thanks to the wolf who managed to break about six ribs. The soldiers who tried to interfere when I was close to breaking Renzo in half were either unconscious or dead by Renzo’s beast who did not like their meddling.

The large wolf took a step and growled in pain as green blood splatted to the ground from the open burnt scar on his left side which was almost identical to his burnt bushy tail. I smirked at my handy work though it was done roughly, it still brought some satisfaction that I still had a hold of things around me.

The beast shook its head and released a low grumble as it locked eyes with me, once again it pounced on me and bared its teeth at me ready to bite my head off, I quickly brought my hands up like a shield and felt the skin ripe as his fangs scratched them, but the metal beneath prevented him from going further.
