Have you ever felt so tired that even moving a finger seemed like running a world marathon?
I was fading in and out of consciousness. My body ached everywhere as one minute I was soaring through the air like a ball and the next, I was being jiggled like some keys in someone’s palms.
It felt like a century until I was put down by whoever abducted me against something soft “Call Rodrick, she’s burning up!” a familiar voice ordered somewhere above me, it did not take a genius to know that they were talking about me.
Immediately they said that I moaned in pain as that familiar burning itch caressed my skin like fire “Rose step back!” another familiar voice exclaimed, one that I knew too well, Stacey. Just as the fire came it vanished, extracting a sigh of relief and exhaustion from me.
