The Staff of Algiea

Upon finishing his break Echo once again continues his research towards the surrounding area, he currently now has a rough idea on his current location and learning a bit more may help him achieve a hidden quest.

This attitude of his, is what leads him to obtaining the title of the greatest Pathfinder during beta, as he always look for every nook and cranny of the certain area just to look for treasures, there's also this one time where he tries to interact with everything including npc, pebbles, branch or even a withered leaf just to learn more in game secrets potentially selling it to other players depending on it's quality.

aside from the items from Amber Light Era Echo didn't manage to find anything else, regardless this still answers his previous conjecture. "if this is somewhere around the amber lght era, then I'm guessing I currently was at the aftermath of the war."

Kya? trip provided a confused response as Echo is currently talking to himself.

"ok time to check the things that I've found"

A carving knife used by the protectors of the Forrest to carve runes on a wood in order to give it magical properties.

the axe commonly used by the military of King Grambeetle of the amber light era.

[(quest) fertilized staff of Algiea (silver)]

an artifact protected by druida and dryads, this wooden staff is baptized by the sap of the holy Algiea tree, granting it the ability to boost the growth of plants in the surroundings

[baptized by nature +5% growth speed of the plants] [blood/mana fertilizer - increases the growth speed of the surrounding plants depending on the amount of blood or Mana being poured in the staff]

"out of all the items that I've found only this four are useful, two quest items a weapon and sharpening tool"

"kyah?!" Trip once again asked echo what he is talking about however it was as if he is being ignored by Echo

"druids and dryads huh? these two seems to be related" as Echo was analyzing the items he had looted, he suddenly took a glance at the pillar like tree in the middle of the town.

kyah!?! annoyance and a pout is slowly appearing on the blue spirit's face as he was being ignored by his friend.

"so you're the final destinaaaaa!!!!!" a blue spark suddenly struck his body electrifying him. "hey why did you do that!" Echo shouted as if he is innocent.

"..kyah!" like a jealous girlfriend Trip crossed his arms and harrumphed loudly.

"really you're the one who's mad now? didn't you forget that you exchanged me last night for a piece of soup?" Echo retorted which makes the blue spirit glow red in shame.

"kyah! kyaahh! (that different I just ungry last nayt" trip defended himself towards the doubtful look of Echo. "kyahh! Kya! kyaaaah! (you are ignoring me ever since when we start the looting) followed up by Trip as tears are slowly building up in the blue Spark's eye.

just as Echo was about to respond and apologize to Trip, it began to burst out in tears. "waaaaaahhhhhh! (I hate you! I hate you)" as tears are erupting from Trip's eyes Echo began to panic and didn't know how he will calm the blue spirit.

sparks began to flow out in the area and clouds are darkening as if it was going to rain. "hey! I'm sorry okay I won't do it agaaa!!" the spark struck him once again as Trip immidiately runs away towards the tree.

the paralysis immidiately subside as it was absorb by the staff of Algiea, as soon as the paralysis wears down Echo proceeded with the chase. "hey trip listen to me first!"

"kyah! (NO!)" still mad at echo a bolt of lightning struck the ground near Echo, as the lightning hit the ground a frozen rain began to pour.

this is the effect of the skill that is used by Trip <thunder before the rain> however due to it the current biome the rain began to freeze transforming to hail. "so the current biome can affect your skills, I'll experiment that later"

not wasting the opportunity given to him Echo quickly analyze it and will only study it for later as he still have to chase the blue spirit who's like a bride that runs away from her wedding.

"this little prick if I know you're that sensitive then I shouldn't have that prank on you." Echo complained to himself.

growing up Echo really care how other people will perceive him, always adjusting the way he talk according to the other person's mood so that he can be friends with them. He always know how to read the mood and can predict how will they respond, however this attitude will always change from careful to carefree whenever he is around those people he deemed as true friends.

just like the current situation Echo already think that trip is one of his real friends that is why he dared to prank him, unfortunately the realization of him and trip just became friends just yesterday hit him like a truck.

"damnit! I forgot that it's just yesterday, if it weren't for those notification I wouldn't try to be that carefree towards him."

Blaming himself won't do anything good to him as such he just continue in chasing Trip. "wait up!!" lightning and hail bombarded the area randomly making the chase even harder.

"I'm so sorry okay! I shouldn't have done that just listen to me first please!" Echo shouts as the hail and lightning continues.

upon reaching the tree he saw a silhoutte of a reindeer can be seen, a deep red glow is radiating from it's nose through its body and melting away the snow.

the reindeer silhoutte immediately grab and capture Trip and speaks to a ball l "Target captured prepare the great sleigh." the reindeer then looks at Echo whose currently in taiko's young body.

"gather the elves and have them deal with this naughty boy here, I'll be taking my leave" just as the reindeer prepares to run away a huge blue colored thunderbolt struck down from heaven causing a huge explosion allowing trip to escape and. enter the tree in which is actually an overgrown staff of Algiea.

Everything happened so fast to Echo's point of view and what he felt is pure powerlessness. "damnit! this body is really weak!" as he cursed to himself, a blue thunderbolt struck down and followed by a huge explosion.

this gave Echo a glimmer of hope, "he hurriedly continue with the chase as he want to protect Trip and apologize properly. however life's never gonna be that simple, because just as he was approaching the tree a bunch of tiny elves blocks his path.

"you not will pass" said by the elf in the middle as they point out their spiralled pattern candycane spear.

grabbing his axe Echo realized that if he wanted to save them he needed to wreck this tiny elves quickly that's why he unhesitatingly activated the blessing of Trip giving him an aura made of blue electric. "Get out of my way!."
