CHAPTER 1

Alarm is ringing early in the morning

"I loved you for a thousand years,

I will love you for a thousand more"

A face pops out of the blanket with a head full of straight silky black heir. ".....Where... am... I.??" .Sudden pain made Rinie completely awake.

Half an hour later. Rinie went to the attached rooftop garden a cup of tea. She takes a sip at a time the book. She wore a long white cotton gown and there was a light blue shawl draping over her shoulders.

Suddenly a massage notification pops out breaking the silent atmosphere.

Rinie let's out a long sigh. She picks up her phone. "ARE YOU SURE?" is she sure? she doesn't knows the answer herself.

These three words have been hunting her down for the last few days. Finally Rinie makes a choice to face the matter with bravery. She sends a reply massage. Then get dressed and wents to the kitchen for breakfasts

On the way she greets her busy grandma.The old woman pauses for a sec and continued what she was doing.

Rinie enters the kitchen, greets the nany and hugs Mrs. Long, '' Good Morning, Mommy''

Mrs. Long smiles and ask ,'' Did you sleep well?''

Rinie smiles showing her two dimples , ''Yes, mommy. How much longer do I need to wait? Your little baby is starving.''

''In a few minutes . We are almost finished.''replies Nany .

''You didin't eat last night .Did you?'' Mrs. long frowns.

Nany Li replies instantly, ''Madam ,Young miss didn't have launch either. I reminded her many times. Late afternoon, she only ate some fruits .As for dinner she said she would eat . I put her favourite food in a tharmos on the bedside table her. I left for some personal matters thus I couldn't remind her. Later when I came back to check, she was asleep.''

Rinie gulps and smiles sheepishly as Mrs. Longs gets angry .

Rinie eats with Mr and Mrs long before heading out. Mrs. Long became dazed seeing her daughter's departing figure. Mr. Long pats her back as a silent comfort to her.

Rinie hails a cab and she closes her eyes after this. Many memories flashed by, drowning her in the ocean of bitter memories and emotions. ''She is too silly, She isn't as beautiful as her brother, She isn't that smart either, A cowered, she is bound to sufferings with her personality. Everyone can do it , why can not you? Everyone learns this way ,why can not you? You have no ambition. You can not do this.....you shouldn't have been born in the first place. You ruined my life. I wish I didn't have a daughter like you...''

''Miss wake up. We have arrived'' the cab driver calls her anxiously. Rinie sits straight with a blank face , being done with her payment she walks towards the tea house entrance. The old driver reminds her kindly, ''Miss, you don't seem very well. I think you should have a checkup.''

''No, thank you'' Rinie replies politrly .

''Okay. Then be careful on your way'' says the old driver before leaving .
