Blessing in disguise

'The winds blew through my hair as I was in the grass. To tried to get back onto my feet. Hearing the sound of someone running toward me while calling out my name.'

"Alexxxxx----- Where are you. If you hear me call out!!!!" Someone yelled out.

'The person in question was my father. Of course, I would have called out if I had any air left in me but I had none. So the only thing I could do was lay there hoping for my father to see me from the destruction I made while fighting the slime.'

'My father was slowly but surely getting close to me. Seeing my dad's blue eyes made all the tension I felt left. Finally knowing I was safe my body the adrenaline that kept me awake was wearing off.'

"Seeing my son laying in a field of was the last thing I expected but it's certainly better then him being injured. Well better get him back home before Amanda freaks out more then she already has." Thought Keith

So Keith carried Alex all the way back home. When they arrived near the manor you could see a blond women with dark green eyes waiting at the entrance of the manor wearing a fluffy coat. The women in question seeing them rush towards them. Keith just continue walking undisturbed about the women running toward him and his son. When the the women got close enough you could here her yelling out the name of his son. Who's the women in question you ask. Why it's the mother of Alex lux.

"Allleeexxxxx!!! Alexxxx!!" Shouted Amanda

They eventually near each other to not need to scream to hear each other.

"Keith what happen to my child! Was he hurt anywhere or is he sic-"Said Amanda

"Calm down Amanda. He's fine, just tired and exhausted. Nothing a good night sleep can't fix." Said Keith

"But he's bleeding! Look at his cheeks there's a cut on it. So he's not fine Keith" Said Amanda

"It's just a cut Amanda nothing serious. If your really that worried over the cut then we should get him back into the manor to get patched up instead of standing here." Said Keith

"Fine, just take my baby back quickly. Before something worse happens Keith" Said Amanda

Keith and Amanda brought Alex back to the manor to get him patched up. Also to let him rest as well. And so the next day arrives with the sun in the sky.

The sunlight spilled into Alex's room right on top of his eyelids.

'Where am I? I sat up from the soft fabric I was on. Looking around I knew that is was my room.'

'I remember now, my Father probably picked me up. That would be the only logical explanation since the last thing I saw was my Father before passing out.'

'The door to my room open and came in was my Mother with a towel in hand. She looked over and saw that I was awake. She rush towards me. Putting her hand on my forehead. After that she started hugging me out of nowhere. Well I guess if you find your son injured you would be worried too.'

"Alex, oh my dear Alex are you hurt anywhere do you feel unwell. Come on answer mommy." Said Amanda

"Mother I'm fine. Just tired is all." said Alex

"Are you sure your fine my dear? Now don't lie to mommy, she just wants the best for you." Said Amanda in a concerned tone

"Yes I'm really okay Mother. I'm not hiding anything. Also I'm sure you check me a thousand times before I actually woke up. So you know more than me." Said Alex

"You really do know your Mommy well don't you. But anyways after you wash up a bit come down stairs. You and your Father needs a word with you." Said Amanda

"Yes Mother. I will do what you just said." Said Alex

'After my mother left I want to the bathroom and hopped into the bathtub and start scrubbing myself down. I'm really dreading to go down there. So many things could happen because of what I done. Why was I so rash. If only I di-. No regrets, I did what I did, now I got to face the consequences of my actions.' Thought Alex

After taking a bath and dressing himself in something presentable, Alex left his room and started heading downstairs. He walked into the living room and sat down on the couch opposite of where his parents where sitting.

"So Alex would you mind telling me why you left your room in the middle of the night. To fight monsters no less. Do you understand how worried me and your mother was." Said Keith

"Father I understand what your trying to say here. I will try not to this again in the future." Said Alex

"You won't try not to this again. You will never do this again in the future again in the future. Do you understand Alex." Said Amanda

"Mother I understand what I did was wrong and not really smart but you can't just restrict me like this. I want to feel the rush of adventure. Just like how dad is a Knight, I want to be like him." Said Alex

"Alex you will inherit our business in the future. I can't just have you running around playing hero. Plus I don't want to see my son dead or hurt if I can help it. Even if this may seem restricting to you." Said Amanda

"Amanda honey lets calm down a bit. Our son is still young, he's only 6 years and a month old at this point. You are putting a bit to much pressure on him. With the training he does by himself on his free time. Plus all the study sessions he has." Said Keith

"I am calm but I don't want my son to die somewhere in the wild. Never coming back to me. He's my child, our child." Said Amanda

"Since your so scared about him dyeing. How about you let me train him. This way even if this happen again he won't get hurt. Does that sound better to you?" Said Keith

"Fine as long he continue his studies. Also he still has to inherit my business. As long as he agrees to this he can train with you." said Amanda

"Thank you Mom, I will do as you say. I love you and dad so much." Said Alex

"Yes yes. Now you stay out of trouble now Alex. Me and your mother are going upstairs to rest a bit." Said Keith

"I will Father. See you later." Said Alex

Alex want back to his room while his Mother and Father want back to theirs to relax.

'This went better than I thought it would. No it was the complete opposite of what I thought was gonna happen. Well I guess this really was a blessing in disguise.' Thought Alex
