35 Chapter 35

—————————Sakura POV————————

After Aizen defected Soul Society was left in panic. Three divisions had suddenly lost their Captains.

The day after, the Captains were called to the 1st Division. We were having a meeting to discuss what had just happened and what to do.

To our surprise lieutenant Shinsui was there. After everyone was seated, the head Captain looked around. Everyone had dead eyes as they knew the paperwork that awaited them since three Captains had disappeared.

"Shinsui has abandoned his rightful duties for far too long so starting today he will become the Captain of the 8th Division. And Captain Haruno can you give us a detailed summary of your fight with Aizen" he said calmly as always.

After saying this the other Captains' eyes suddenly had hope as a new Captain was announced. Mayuri then played the video of my fight with Aizen on a hologram device. After the video, everyone was surprised, some were looking at me with a new light.

"He was very strong, but he's I can handle given enough time. His strong points as you have seen are Zanjutsu and Kido, and on top of this he has a tricky Zanpakto. It can hypnotize those who have seen it being released." I said slightly seriously.

The other Captains went into deep thought for a few seconds. The head Captain looked around again.

"Is there anyone you would recommend for Captain." He finally said after scanning the room.

"I would recommend giving Lieutenant Hitsugaya some training before taking the Captains' Proficiency Test. He has the power and brains but lacks experience and control." I said. Rangiku wanted to reject but after listening to the training part calmed down.

After a few arguments mainly on Hitsugaya's age people finally agreed to see if he's worthy after the training. Luckily I wasn't the one to train him. This duty was passed to his Captain.

"I want you all to train as hard as you can as soon as possible. I have a feeling this will not be the last time we hear from Aizen, you are all dismissed" finally said the head Captain and the Captains started walking out.

———————Unohana's POV———————

"Only a few of these Shinigami really have what it takes to be Captains" I said to the Head Captain as I glanced at the other Captains leaving.

"Peace has made us weak" he replied calmly.

"If the old wars were to repeat themselves, only Shinsui, Haruno and maybe Zaraki would survive. Byakuya has the talent but is relaxed. Ukitake is only weakened by his weakness otherwise he would survive too." I said I started walking to the door.

————————Ichigo's POV—————————

We've been in Soul Society for a few days now. It's been fun walking around instead of running. Seireitei is beautiful as hell! I got to see Rukia and met other people in Seireitei, but now we are standing at the Senkaimon about to return.

There are quite a few people to see us go. There's Ikkaku, Rukia, Renji and apparently Captain Haruno is here as well.

She's been staring at me for a few seconds now. I am confused. I heard she's interested in women so I hope she isn't checking me out.

After our goodbyes we jumped through the Senkaimon and left.

I wonder what the hell happened to make Ichigo become a girl. I hope it has nothing to do with me.
