Chase is smirking as he looks at Corey.

Father looks proud of his sons.

'Can I not measure mine?' Light mutters in a low voice.

Based on their conversation, it looks like his brothers aren't the only geniuses around.

'I wonder what kind of people the others are,' ponders Light.

"Baron Stephan, can you tell me the secret to make geniuses", says Samantha in a half-joking half-expected manner...

'3 times a day?' Thinks Light remembering his friend's 'words of wisdom'.

Stephan just smiles in response,

"Well, you are next lad," says Theoder while glancing at Light.

He snap out of his thoughts and moves toward the spheres.

'At least be above an average person,' mutters light as he puts his hands on the spheres one by one and...

This time everyone has pity-shock-sympathy in their eyes.

Stephan sighs and then massages his forehead.

'Aah! This is embarrassing, even though I am mentally an adult, the hormones are making me flush and nervous. Damn this child's body!' Thinks Light as he gets agitated.

"Well, sorry to be blunt kid, but you have no future as a mage of any kind and you should look for a different route like a merchant or trader," says Theoder in an apathetic tone," now Chase I would like to begin our training right now if you have no problem with it. Samantha should have similar thoughts for Corey, so what do you both say?" He says to Corey and Chase.

Looking at Samantha she too wants to teach Corey right now.

Chase looks at Corey who nods back at him,

"We would like to begin right now," says Chase on behalf of Corey and Chase.

Then after bowing to Stephan they immediately leave in the direction of the training area.

Only Light and Stephan are left in the office.

Stephan is observing Light with an expressionless face. But there is still pity in his eyes.

'If only he had a talent that he could use to climb society's ladder.' He seems to be thinking that.

Light is looking in the direction where the others have left.

He is turns back to Stephan and says,

"I would like to make a request, father," in a pleading tone.

Stephan looks at him and signals to continue,

"I would like to read books on advanced mana and aura theory," says Light eagerly.

"Okay," says Stephan without asking any further questions.

'It's a good thing he never asks questions regarding studying and sorts.' Light mumbles as he leaves the office.

Light then runs towards the direction where his brothers went.

As Light enters the training area he looks at the instructors and his brothers. They seems to be talking about something. When he entered the area, they glanced at him and then continued on with their question-answer session.

Light sits at a distance away from them and starts listening to their conversation without disturbing them.

1.Magicules are something present in this World that makes magic possible. Today they are going to learn how to store magicules in their body and artifacts.

Artifacts are special devices that can store magicules in them and can be easily utilised.

For aura users, they store the magicules in their body proportional to how much their capacity is, which differs from person to person and roughly increases 1 to 20% based on one's potential every year.

Magic-users can control magicules in their surroundings based on their ability and potential. Their ability increases 20%every year and so does the distance and amount of magicules they can utilise.

Artifacts provide an immediate way to replenish the number of magicules they have spent and are necessary for magic users to bring out their full potential.

Without artifacts, magic users can still use magicules from the surroundings but the power would be 75% lesser than that of power with artifact.
