Nu Yanyan had never been happier to hear the word home,her head still felt a lot better but she was sure that if she could see Lu Jingze,he would surely be her cure.

Shi Rhue led her to a car outside,the police were all baffled. Were they invisible or what? He just let out such a ruthless punishment and then pretended they were not here anymore.

They could only refute him in their minds, nobody had seen Lu Jingze in action but they could imagine his ruthlessness through Shi Rhue.

However Shi Rhue didn't even care to notice them after letting out that cruel punishment,he took Nu Yanyan to this car that had just arrived near the supermarket.

After Nu Yanyan was all settled in,he entered the driver's seat and drove.

Inside the Mansion,Nu Yanyan shivered due to the emptiness and coldness. It was how the house felt when Lu Jingze isn't around.

Nu Yanyan faced Shi Rhue"where is Lu Jingze"she asked.

Shi Rhue without battling an eyelid said at once"he went on a business trip and wouldn't be around for some weeks".

"He went on a business trip without telling me"she eyed Shi Rhue suspiciously as she brought out her phone. Shi Rhue face was still neutral,he didn't look scared of being caught.

Nu Yanyan swore that if he was right about Lu Jingze,when he picks the call,he would recieve the scolding of his life.

When she dialed the number,the call disconnected immediately. And this repeated for about three times, Shi Rhue opened his mouth to explain seeing her look"Mr Lu business trip required that all phones must be turned off throughout so you won't be able to contact him until he's done".

Nu Yanyan couldn't refute this but she was angry that he didn't bother to inform her.

"When you can contact him please do tell him to call me"Nu Yanyan said.

Shi Rhue nodded, bowed and then left the house.

Nu Yanyan went to her room and on the floor,she saw the ring that Lu Jingze had left there this morning.

She picked it up and placed it in her drawer.

She took a short bath, used a bandage to cover up the injury that Maria had given her on the neck and after,she rested on the bed. The back of her head was hurting her.

Soon,she drifted off into a nightmare free sleep.

Nu Yanyan woke up to excessive knocking on her house door, rubbing her tired eyes,she lazily walked downstairs slowly.

Who could be disturbing her this early morning,her mind drifted off to Lu Jingze. What if he's the one knocking.

All signs of sleepiness removed from her body as she energetically rushed down the stairs.

Just as she opened the door,she met with the person she didn't wish to meet in this lifetime again.

Her ex mother-in-law.

He Duming mother.

At first,Nu Yanyan first thought was to close back her door but to how the woman knows where she's living interests her.

"Yanyan, can i come in?"her voice was quivering as she talks.

Nu Yanyan was silent before opening her lips"some rules first. One, don't call me Yanyan,am Nu Yanyan. Two,if what you have to say doesn't interest me, don't mind me when i ask you to leave. Three,you don't touch anything when you come in. Four,if you want to me to do anything for you that will benefit you in anyway,then leave me out of it. Are you clear on that?"

Li Li,He Duming mother was stunned. She thinks back to when this rebellious girl was still as obedient and meek as a lamb.

"Okay,if that's what will take you to let me in"Nu Yanyan wasn't swayed by her words.
