Betrayed by a tree!?

A certain snowfield in an unknown place.

In every direction, there was just snow—endless snow everywhere.

Amidst the continuously pouring snow, a young man with black hair and black pupils can be seen walking at a slow pace; he seemed to be having lots of difficulties crossing the snow-covered area.

If looked from far away, his actions seemed quite weird.

Sometimes he suddenly stops walking and, as if avoiding something, takes a small detour then continues to walk in the same direction, and sometimes he uses his skill to instantly cross over a huge area and then keeps walking normally again.

After continuously walking for who knows how long, he found a dried-up tree covered in snow.

The boy first inspected around the tree, and when he was fully sure, he sat beside the tree and started to recover his mana, which he needed to do urgently.
