Leo sighed.

"So that is why you wanted me to tag along so badly, to give me a job the moment I arrive here."

Valentina shrugged

"I'm not gonna deny it Leo."

"Y'know, I'm honestly getting tired with all these jobs, I don't feel like going around the entire day slaying people, I already had to do that at MC&D, the only reason I am willing to do it now is because you offer me a good amount of money that I could use."

Valentina snorted.

"You think I didn't know that? There would be no way that you would do all of that for no money, if I forced you to do it for no money you would probably betray me at some point."

"Looks like you at least have somewhat of a brain." said Leo in an annoyed tone.

He was generally just annoyed with the entire situation.

He knew that what Valentina would be doing wasn't pretty but this was something else.

"I'm not much into betrayal, tell me some more about the job if possible."

"Right, so recently there has been some problems between two crypto hedgefunds that used to work together, RADA and FDL capital management. The owner of RADA died recently and his son took over. The son of RADA severed ties with FDL since he didn't approve of the way they conducted business."

"Lemme guess, the owner of FDL got furious?"

Valentina nodded.

"Yep, they placed a hit of 25 million on the new owner of RADA, someone redirected the owner of FDL to me and that is how we got here."

"I don't get it though, what do they get out of killing the new owner of RADA? The company would just fall into someone else's hands?"

"Indeed, but that is the entire plan. The next person to take over is a CEO, one that has good connections with FDL capital management, do you get where this is going."

"Yeah, right. So why do I have to do this job?" asked Leo

"Huh? What do you mean why you?"

"Valentina, I'm not stupid. You could have someone else do this job but there is a reason why I have to do it, what reason is that?"

Valentina sighed.

"Yeah yeah I get it, the problem is is that the new owner already expected something to happen so he heavily fortified his own house, it isn't anything compared to site phobos though. See it more like my mansion, but with 20 extra guards and CCTV."

"Lemme guess, you want me to kill a guard, infiltrate the mansion, kill the owner, take proof of the hit and report back, right?"

"Yeah, we've managed to find the information of a guard that is supposed to be on one of the next shifts, he lives 5 hours from here and you will be taking a train there, kill him and steal his identity, after that go to the address I will hand you, it is the mansion. From there on forward I assume you know what to do, right?"

Leo nodded.

"Is there any specific way the client wants me to take care of him?"

"No, do whatever you want."

Valentina handed Leo a note.

"Some additional information is on this note, you should depart now if possible since the next shift starts around 11:00 AM, the driver that brought us will drop you off at the nearest train station and hand you a ticket for your destination, I won't be tagging along since I still have to do some stuff here, a client of mine will also be visiting soon."

"You do whatever, not like I wanna be here to meet those disgusting customers of yours, there would be realistic chance that I bash their skull in if I meet them face to face."

Valentina shrugged and waved Leo off.

"Whatever, just report back in to me when you're done, that way I can contact FDL, payment will be done in full crypto so make sure you have a wallet to receive it in, you might want to launder it through a online casino but that is your choice. I'll see you around later."
