Synopsis

Book 1 is now available for order! Volume 1: https://a.co/d/0ao1rdn0 The first volume has been taken down for the Amazon release. Published by Riverfolk Publishing. *********************************** My name is Tim or was that is until I died, there was no light at the end of the tunnel, no white room to choose any cheats from, nor was there any meeting with God. I didn’t die heroically saving someone, and I certainly didn’t get hit by a truck. My death was rather stupid and anticlimactic, I had apparently bumped my head while sleeping and passed away... That should have been the end of the road for me but like many self-proclaimed main characters, I joined the army of multi-dimension travelers and was reincarnated. Being an avid light novel and manga reader, I would have been excited at the opportunity, if not for my new siblings who tried to kill me as soon as I was born, or my mother who seemed to have something with throwing me off cliffs, and let’s not forget my murderous father who forced me to flatten a small country as my Rite of passage. Oh did I mention I was reborn as a Dragon? The Bloodline System

In a future timeline, the earth was visited by a species known as the Slarkovs. Having lost their home planet and in search of a new one, the Earth was the next habitable planet for them. Humans and Slarkovs made a deal with each other in return for the Slarkovs living on Earth. The Slarkovs traded their technology and knowledge for a new home. They were similar to humans except for some of them who had slight differences, so fitting into society wasn't a problem. Over the years, Slarkovs and humans began to mate with one another and reproduce offspring. This, in turn, created new species known as the mixedblood. Centuries later, mixedbloods could tap into their bloodline and perform unimaginable feats. Gustav was born into an age where bloodline determines everything and struggles to fit in with a useless bloodline. His bloodline only grants him the ability to change his hair colour, destroying his hopes and dreams for a great future. His fate is turned around when an unexpected situation leads to him finding a system that grants him the power to unlock and upgrade bloodlines by completing quests, but he's baffled by two quests with a five-year deadline. Success will grant him unimaginable rewards... But only one thing awaits him if he fails... Death! Follow Gustav on his interesting journey filled with unprecedented adventures, danger, and death, maybe? PS: The MC's character growth happens more than once in this story. Celestial Bloodline

On a peaceful planet filled with magic and power, Kyle's life was lazy and ordinary, but little did he know, he possessed something extraordinary. He lived his life with his family like any other lazy human, or so he thought, unaware that everything happens for a reason. However, everything changed when he turned sixteen. His older brothers, who were fed up with his laziness, came up with a ridiculous plan to teach him a lesson. They asked him to take the entrance test for one of the biggest academies. They thought this would knock some sense into their lazy brother. Kyle was stunned, but because of their coordinated planning, he reluctantly agreed with a hint of resignation. "I don't think I'll pass the test anyway. So, trying it for the experience isn't a big deal." "The only problem is, I can't guarantee that all my body parts will stay intact until the end of the entrance test." But to Kyle's shock, he passed the test without even lifting a finger! Still, he was convinced that he would eventually be kicked out of the Academy due to his lack of strength. But the moment he set foot in the Academy, he discovered something incredible about himself. He was special and nature's favorite. . . . ______ (#It's my first time writing. So, support me with ps, gt and gifts. Hehe, THANK YOU) (Note: The cover is not mine, found it from pinterest. First off, I will say that the writing quality of this story is great. They do a lot of things right, and the story has many enjoyable parts. I find myself smiling quite a bit at sections of the story. That said, there are two glaring issues with this story that need to be addressed. First off, the reincarnation aspect of this story is basically pointless. The main character is a human who was born into the body of a dragon, so you'd think there'd be some difference between him and other dragons right? Nope. This MC no different from the others. Thinking like a dragon, acting like one, and is essentially dominated by his dragon instincts like 90% of the time. If you wondering if his human side is ever going to matter, you can safely put those thoughts to rest. He is a sociopath who lovingly plays with his family and then slaughters hundreds of humans with a smile on his face while complaining that it was too easy like all the others. He brings nothing new. In addition to this, it seems like the dragons in this story suffer from brain damage. They preach about keeping balance and how humans are using mana wrong. But they never try to explain anything to them. The dragons constantly complain about this problem as well, but they're causing the very issue they're trying to stop. The dragons also set up a training ground for young dragons to kill humans, but if humans ever win, they get butthurt and go destroy cities completely unrelated to the deaths and say: "Yeah! That's what you deserve!" What's worse is that these dragons think of themselves as wise and intelligent beings. And for the most part, they are. They even go out of their way to collect EXTENSIVE knowledge on specific human kingdoms. Yet somehow they can't grasp these very simple pieces of common sense.
