Reinhard

The moment they arrived at the capital city, Kaji looked through the window of the carriage. He saw all sorts of different people walking around, but what caught his attention the most was the marketplace, where most people were selling many different things. He decided to visit it later, he turned to look at Roswall who was smiling at him, this made the boy shudder.

"So do you need me to do anything, or can I go and look around?" Kaji asked.

"When we arrive at our destination you can do whatever you want, just don't couseee trouble." The clown said.

Kaji didn't speak to him anymore and continued through the widow, and before he could realize it they were in the courtyard of the castle-like mansion. Kaji didn't wait for Roswall to get out of the carriage and jumped out first, he looked around and started walking in a random direction. Roswall didn't seem to care much as he looked at the boy before going in a different direction.

While Kaji walked around exploring the place, he found a field made for training, he looked around to see a young red-haired boy swinging a wooden sword. Kaji started walking towards him, he assumed that he was around the same age as him. He walked right up to the boy and started speaking loudly.

"Hey, my name is Kaji, what's yours?" Kaji introduced himself to the boy who heard his voice.

"Oh, my name is Reinhard, Ummm is there anything you need?" The boy asked while introducing himself.

Reinhard was surprised to see a boy call out to him, but it wasn't the end of his surprises. He saw a boy with long red hair, he had two black horns growing out of the top part of his forehead, while his golden eyes with slit-like pupils looked at him. He had many questions, but decided to act properly and not ask improper questions.

Kaji, on the other hand, was looking at the boy with sparkling blue eyes portraying a sense of confidence and recklessness. Kaji was sure that the boy in front of him was strong even as a kid, but now he had a perfect chance to measure himself by having a spar with him.

"Reinhard, let's have a duel!" Kaji declared.

"Huh, you want to have a duel with me? Why?" He asked the horned boy.

"Because that's how swordsmen speak they don't use words with each other they use their sword!" Kaji started bullshiting once again.

"I see but are you sure you want to fight me, I'm really strong you know and I don't want to hurt you either." Reinhard said with a bit of worry in his voice, after all, no one of similar age could keep up with him so he was hesitant to fight the boy.

"Reinhard, if you underestimate your opponent you will lose your life!" Kaji said before taking up two wooden swords from a wooden rack with wooden weapons. He wanted to try and fight using two swords instead of one, after all, he has two amazing swords so he needs to learn how to use them properly. Fighting Reinhard was perfect practice, this would let him learn while fighting, the best way to learn is while fighting.

"I understand, but don't regret your decisions later on okay?!" Reinhard took a stance while speaking.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure not to beat you too much!" Kaji declared while taking his own sword stance.

Kaji moved first and moved towards his opponent with great speed which surprised Reinhard. Reinhard managed to block his first attack, but the very next moment he had to move back so as to not get hit in the head by another sword. Kaji could only smile when Reinhard blocked and dodged his swords, for some reason he felt existed to fight with swords, after days without a proper duel with swords he smiled.

Kaji jumped back while dodging a diagonal slash from Reinhard, he didn't know how strong the boy was, but he knew that he must be stronger than this. So he moved faster and one could only hear banging noises of wood hitting wood, while the two boys were moving at incredible speeds.

While the two red-haired boys were fighting with big smiles on their faces, people heard the noises from the training area and came to see what was happening. They could see two boys fighting, soldiers who knew of Reinhard were surprised to see someone capable of keeping up with him.

While more, and more people were gathering, Kaji and Reinhard didn't notice while the two clashed swords. Kaji used a simple downward pound into the opponent with both swords. And Reinhard blocked it with his sword, sadly all three swords broke apart when they collided, it seemed like the two of them used too much force.

Everyone was quietly looking at the boys who dropped the broken wooden swords and walked towards each other. The boys stopped half a meter from each other and shook hands, some people thought that they would continue to fight, one could hear some grumbles of dissatisfaction while others heaved a sigh of relief.

This was the day that Reinhard met someone who could keep up with him, he realized that he should never underestimate his opponent. He realized that he was a bit too arrogant thinking that no one of his age could be his opponent before. While Reinhard was happier than ever, Kaji was sweating internally, he did everything he could but the broken overpowered Reinhard took everything head-on and he was perfectly fine.
