In the second round of the apocalypse game, the virtual landscape transformed all players into the inhabitants of Calumet town, a tranquil rural community nestled in the northeastern region of the United States. However, this picturesque setting was swiftly shattered as the first waves of a harrowing war washed ashore, plunging the town into chaos.

With 4,833 players and a few hundred NPCs, the once-peaceful streets of Calumet became a frenzied battleground. Alan understood the gravity of the situation: around 3,000 paratroopers had descended from the skies, heralding the initial thrust of assaults in a series that would persist over the next two weeks.

The soundscape was an eerie symphony of roaring engines, staccato gunshots, and thunderous explosions. Three vehicles maneuvered through the tumultuous town, their occupants engaging the paratroopers in fierce skirmishes while also rescuing stragglers players around the way.
