Random Powers In The Multiverse

Gabriel was walking down the street while reading a chapter of the popular manhwa, Solo Levelling. He was a big fan of the main characters ability to revive monsters and use them as his own army.

While he was reading, Gabriel did not notice that there was a truck coming towards him at a rapid speed. Luckily, before he could be hit, an old lady hobbled towards him with the assistance of her cane and pushed him out of the way. This caused her to get hit by the truck and get sent flying.

As soon as Gabriel saw this he shouted to the sky, "Why lord? Why would truck-kun choose that old lady instead of me?"

As he was saying this, the old lady who had been hit seemed to have a bit of life left in her despite her body being completely destroyed, "I saved that little bastard and now he's complaining, what is wrong with young people these days? If he wants to die so badly then I'll bring that ungrateful little shit down with me."

The old lady then pulled out a Barrett M82 Sniper Rifle from her bag and aimed it at Gabriel's head. As soon as she had a perfect shot, she pulled the trigger. A loud bang could be heard, and Gabriel's skull was absolutely obliterated.

Everything went black for a few seconds in Gabriel's mind, but soon after he saw himself in a white room with a single entity that spoke to him in a Scottish accent, "Welcome, I am the Fairy God. And no, I do not mean Fairy as in the derogatory term for a homosexual man, if you couldn't tell, I am quite literally a Fairy."

"Finally, I've been waiting so long for this moment. I thought there was no hope when the old lady got hit instead of me. How did I die anyway?"

"You're eager aren't you, calm your tits for a minute and let me explain what happened to you. The old lady that got hit killed you after witnessing your ungratefulness for her sacrifice. This death was too early compared to your expected life span, and because of this I am contractually obligated to give you compensation."

"What sort of compensation? Reincarnation perhaps?"

"You already know what's going to happen so there's no need to explain much further. This used to be a new concept for people, but you accidentally allow one person to return to Earth after travelling other worlds and all of a sudden there's a whole genre about it. Enough about that though, I am going to be sending you to a random fictional world with a system to allow you to draw a lottery to obtain random powers. You will gain more lottery tickets by completing missions, and after completing a world's main mission you will be able to travel to another one. But to begin with, you will have one lottery ticket and will be in the Ben 10 world. Goodbye now."

With that, Gabriel felt himself be pulled from where he was standing and into the body of someone else. He found himself in a bath filled with red water, "Ah shit, did this guy kill himself? Looks like it."

Gabriel could see the razor blade that his body's previous owner had used to kill himself and then looked down at his arms to see if he was still damaged.

There was no blood or open wounds, but from his wrists all the way up his forearms there were two scars (one on each arm) where the razors had cut.

As he no longer wanted to sit in blood, Gabriel got out of the bath and dried himself off of the blood water. He realised he did not know what he looked like yet, so he walked over to the mirror and checked himself out.

He was five foot eleven, with slightly tanned skin and a body that was of an above average build. His hair was aqua coloured and wavy, and he had arctic blue eyes with eyelashes and eyebrows the same colour as his hair. He had midnight blue lips, and his face was also relatively attractive which was a bonus despite not being all that important to him. From the looks of it, he was about sixteen years old as well which was a bonus as that was his previous age.

Gabriel needed to check where he currently was as he wanted to know if he lived with anyone and where he was located.

He wrapped a towel around himself and walked out of the bathroom, it turned out he was in a one person apartment and there were no signs of anybody else living there.

Gabriel had searched the apartment and found some personal belongings of his body's previous owner. It seemed as though he went to a sixth form at the local high school and tomorrow, he would have to show up if he wanted to somewhat fit in.

After finding the phone that was now technically his, Gabriel used the face ID to open it and see if he could find anything else about his new body. He found out that this body had the same name as him which was a lucky coincidence as he did not want to have to be called something else. Based on the lack of contacts on the phone, it looked like he had no family or friends. Instead, he just had an abundance of death threats on every social media from a group of people who seemed to be the most popular in his school.

Clearly, the previous owner of the body was a victim of intense physical and psychological bullying which caused his suicide. But now that Gabriel was inhabiting the body, he would stop this from continuing as he was not a big fan of being a victim.

The first step in fixing this issue would be to check out the lottery system he had been granted.
