Arc 1.5

Kate sighed heavily as she fell back onto the bed; her close confidants at the table all had their heads lowered. They were already under the illusion that they must be loyal to their master; if they ever betrayed her, they would take the initiative to quietly kill themselves.

As Kate quietly closed her eyes, she opened her lips and said to the servants standing there motionlessly, "You all may retire from this room." Her voice was still very gentle, but the authority in her tone was undeniable.

"These servants retire," the servants said in unison.

The servants all bowed to the sleeping princess after the banquet specially hosted for her ended.

As the servants finally left her room, the system quietly peeked out as it looked at its Host.

"Host?" the system tentatively called out.

Kate, with her eyes still closed, hummed in response to the system's call.
