Chapter 4: After the spark

max laid on the ground with Ai Sayama in his arms and as it was getting late max felt a bit cold so he tore the space between him and the ground instantly falling into it and inside a carriage near by space suddenly ripped and two bodies landed inside the carriage onto what appeared to be a bed.

Ai Sayama was still amazed by his space ability as it's a very very rare ability and even those who have it find it hard to master unlike max.

as they laid in the carriage max ask Ai Sayama about herself, max learned that she was a widow with two daughters and her husband died whilst exploring a ripple dimension.

She is currently the head of the Sayama family after her husband died, the members of the family had no choice but to let her, a female lead the family, as she was from the main line and there were no males in the main family line.

families were like trees and had different branches, it might be the same tree but the brunches were different.

the different lines of the family all wanted to become the main family line, because being the main line not only meant representing the family but it also meant that you had more privileges and power over other family lines.

Many members are unconvinced by the choice of her leading the family and many want to replace her.

" many of them want to marry me or my daughters" she said with disgust, the only reason she had managed to keep her position was because of Sir alex and the men left by her husband to protect her.

and that she herself is a rank 6 veteran. she further explained telling max that there are 7 classes, the noob, recruit, veteran, noble, king, emperor and God.

each class has 7 stages and every class and stage gets harder to break through, a vast number of people are noob class many are stuck at rank 7, as there is a trial through the spark that happens before one can become recruit, today the strongest human is believed to be only in the emperor class rank 1.

as they talked max learned more about the world after what they call the Spark of Phanes happened.

Phanes is the great primordial god of creation and the spark created a new earth with ripple dimension, treasures of heaven and earth, birthing abilities in man and creature variants never seen before and giving breath to mans fantasies such as mythical dragons. dangers and fortune, greatness and destruction all from the Spark of Phanes.

families rose and fell, dynasties were birthed, man conquered the skies, the mountains reaching the clouds and stretching for miles on miles without end a moon dyed blue. this was the world after the spark.

in the east of this vast world was the kingdom of Lu, founded by Lu bai the seeker, Lu bai the seeker was a man seeking knowledge and attempted to answer why and what caused the spark and was greatly fascinated by everything that came after the Spark, the new abilities humans gained the mutation of animals, the expansion and randomization of the earth.

he sought knowledge and on his journey his power grew it's believed he found a holy grade treasure, with it his strength skyrocketed making him reach the King class and as he neared his end he laid down a kingdom in the east leaving it and his treasures to his descendants. It's rumored that there is a secret Lu treasury hidden with the royal family of Lu´s treasury.

because of lu the seeker who loved knowledge the kingdom he built has a scholarly atmosphere and power through knowledge rather than just raw strength is admired.

the people of the kingdom and the nobles alike praise those with knowledge as such many great thinkers travel from afar and with them bring knowledge from different regions enriching the Lu pavilion, making it famous among thinkers and scholars. ´only through knowledge there is power´ as Lu the seeker drew his last breath it´s said he gave this words to his descendants and ask that they live by it.

to the north of the kingdom of Lu is the federation, the federation is an alliance of powers that was created by previous rich and powerful families when the earth was normal.

the families take turns sitting on the presidents chair, further west is the burning forest range a forest filled with underground fires and volcanos that explodes frequently setting the whole forrest on fire.

to the east of the kingdom of Lu is the great seas, man have conquered the land and the skies yet the seas have devoured all those who dared to try, leaving not even bones. Not many understand what lays underneath the waters, so Ai sayama couldn't tell max much about it.

to the west of the kingdom of Lu is the holy river church, the holy river sect is a branch of the holy seas that's beyond the great mountain range to the west.

The holy river is a powerful sect with a church at its core.

they believe that they have been divined through the spark, it wields the power of faith and spreads it's influence through the whole region, the kingdom of Lu and the federation included.

many fear it's might and means having believers fanatical enough to die for it, it believes that after this life all those who follow it's teachings, and believe that only the waters are divine, by believing this, one can enter the holy seas sanctuary and glimpse upon the divine spark blessing their past and future.

In the kingdom of Lu there is 5 great clans and 7 minor clans and many small clans each clan has a main line, which is the main line family that represents and leads the clan.

after telling max of the general situation Ai sayama fell asleep in his arms, she felt safe, a feeling she had missed and craved for, as she was all alone fighting against the schemes and plots against her and her daughters as well as trying to govern over the clan as the main family line head, and let the families that are plotting against her flourish as they are part of the Sayama clan.

she kept a strong front and never felt so safe and peaceful even in her late husbands arms, this thought made her feel ashamed at herself. ´after tomorrow i will stay away from him´ she said to herself as she slept. max tried to sleep but it felt strange, not being wrapped by the fabrics of space as he was during the time he spent in that dark void.

Max tried to emulate it by coating every inch of his skin in fabrics of space, but he failed to maintain it for more than 30 seconds.

as max kept on trying he wondered if he could wrap his whole being in space fabric for an unlimited amount of time, as such he could render all attacks beneath a certain strength useless as they would be swallowed by the space wrapping him and sent somewhere else.

Max was excited at the idea of creating new tricks with his ability. as he laid against her looming breasts he could feel them raise and fall.
