Stay With Me, Please [Long Hiatus]
Tang Jinghao is a hard-working doctor with a very powerful background. Her family is the wealthiest in the capital. One day, another powerful family, the Tian family, moves to their country and tries to surpass the Tang family. In order to avoid the war between the two families, the Tang family proposes a marriage to keep them both on the same level and to be the most powerful people in the country.
Tang Jinghao is forced to marry the Tian Liwei, the successor of the company, Tian Rising. He is the eldest young master of the Tian family. During her stay at her in-laws’ residence, she notices something peculiar about them.
They didn’t eat much. Their appearances were flawless all the time. They never slouched, blinked, and it didn’t even look like they were breathing because of how formal and polite they were. They would never show their bad side of themselves. They also took special interest in antiques from the Tang Dynasty.
Until one night, Tian Liwei left his empty wine glass on the counter. Tang Jinghao assumed that he was tired and forgot to put it in the sink. The red wine was all around the inside of the cup. The liquid looked thick and Tang Jinghao thought, “This couldn’t possibly be regular red wine. What is it?” She smelled it and it smelled familiar. It smelled like the blood from patients at the hospital. “What are you doing?” Tian Liwei took the glass from her. “What is that?” “My special wine.” “It smells like blood.” “And.... what if it is?” He walked towards her as she took a few steps back. Then, Tian Liwei put his hands on the counter behind her to trap her. “Dr. Tang, I’m out of my favorite drink. How will I get more?” Author’s message: PS, most of the historical events mentioned didn’t really happen. The names of the antiques were made up. The events were just used to entertain readers.
