Two Geniuses and New generation Rivalry

Ryan, 5 years old, was well aware that he is in the Marvel universe. If the first conversation between his parents about Starks didn't confirm it, it was confirmed on his first birthday when he saw from his tiny little eyes the Starks coming to his house party.

The Daddy stark or actor Dominic cooper was just right there shaking hands with his father. Oh boy! How did Howard stark change from Dominic cooper to John Slattery is beyond his understanding? I mean their faces were so different and yet similar. Anyway, not his headache.

If there are a few things, he picked from the first 5 years of his life then it would be that his family is rich like too rich to care. His family business is in the technology sector and database management was their key. It was like Oracle but bigger and more advanced.

Ryan always felt super excited when thinking about this future life. At first, he prayed this was not the comic world as he was not ready to face so many world extinction events growing up and it was such a relief when he found there is no such thing as a mutant or anything "special" apart from Captain America posters that were posted on some walls in streets.

Also, one of the most important things he picked was that his family was in rivalry with Starks! Oh yes! For the reasons unknown to him for now, they were in two different sectors, one was managing the database other was making weapons but there was this tension or hatred his father showed towards Starks from time to time he didn't understand.

Ryan loved his new family and he always loved to hug his father and mother whenever he got a chance. Anyway, in the last life he was their adopted son but this time he was their true son and he was also very happy about this fact.

Today his father took him to the company to show off his work and his building and his office. Childish but proud father!

"Linda, this is my son Ryan. Ryan this is my secretary, Linda. She will show you my office and help you today. Ok. Behave properly and ask all questions you want okay."- Mark said as he handed over Ryan to Linda and Linda took him by his hands and into the elevator. Mark wanted to do these things but as soon as he entered his secretary Linda had handed him an urgent shareholder meeting notice.

So, he ran off to see what new problems suddenly came up that these people wanted a meeting in the morning. After all, any meeting in the morning with shareholders is never good news. At least for him, this was his experience.

"Ahem. Linda, are you my secret mommy?"

"Oh, hell no dear. I am beautiful and smart and funny and possibly the closet person to your father in the company but no I am no secret mommy or anything."

"Are you sure? I heard people say that secretary is secret mommy."

"Hmph. Listen, young man, I am the topper of my class since nursery and I got here by working too many late nights and too many early mornings. No secret backdoor. You should ask your papa about me you know."

"Okay! Let us go to dad's office first. He told me he can see the whole city from there."- Ryan said after feeling confident that his father is not cheating on his mother. Well, what can he say? Linda is just too pretty and he has heard too many tales to believe in marriage in the US. Anyway, the topic diverted and he soon came to his father's office.

"It's so cool. It is so big"- well, it wasn't but he has to pretend like a 5-year-old child sometimes.

"Yes, it is. See these designs on walls. These are the new circuit board designs we are making. We will make these new designs first and capture the circuit board market. This will be a revolution in the field of computers!" Linda said while showing some circuit drawings that were pinned on a designed board on the wall.

For Ryan, it felt like he was seeing something so stupid and so backward! Is this revolution? If Steve Jobs was here, in this world, he would have already made circuit designs 100 times better than this.

While Ryan was looking at designs patiently and thinking about how to make these designs decent enough and not too advanced suddenly, Linda felt that Ryan was looking at drawing like scribbles. Oh, what a 5-year-old child can understand. It's my stupid thinking.

"Ryan, would you like to see the aquarium? There are so many beautiful fishes there!"

"Well, the fishes can wait Linda. Can you please call the technician team and the engineering team here who designed these blueprints? I have some ideas and I want to check if those are possible."

"Ryan, do you really understand this? I mean this is not a game Ryan. These are not just random lines are dots you know. They mean something and even I don't understand most of it."

"Linda, I understand this clearly. That is why I asked for those technicians and engineers. Please trust me for this. Okay."

Linda looked at little Phillip confused and so many thoughts were going inside her head. "Is this the same Ryan who was asking her if she was secret mommy? How can he suddenly become so sharp and that tone! God! Are these Phillip boys born to be a boss? Even this little boss is giving her orders just like his father."

"Okay, I will call them and till then, can you tell me who told you about the engineering team and technician team in the company?"

Linda became Mark's secretary after understanding to note all those little details hidden or sometimes missed in conversations. She just caught these terms Ryan just spoke because she clearly knows that this is beyond scope of what any 5-year-old boy should be aware of.

"Well, I read all those thin report books daddy bought home. I have already all those books in daddy's study. It was written that these people do things and daddy approves or cancels them. Correct Linda?"

So, in the CEO Mark Phillip's office, after 20 minutes, a 5-year-old child sat on the CEO chair and asked many questions one after another to the 20 something odd people from various teams.

After a very long 2-hour meeting when the technicians and engineers felt their minds blown and felt like meeting a computer Jesus, they ran to make a prototype immediately. Everyone wanted to go and check and make this new circuit board possible.

On the other hand, in the same office, there was a person who felt he had seen Einstein today and had lost words to speak her thoughts. For Linda, what started as a normal day was hardly anything but normal now. She told Ryan to sit in the office and decided to meet her boss Mark and tell him what just happened. This was incredible. His son was a genius in technology and Mark simply had no idea.

When Linda met Mark, she found his face looking grim and he had just come out of his meeting with the shareholders.

"Well, Linda it seems we need to sell our company to Starks and go sell some burgers and sodas now!"

"Mark, what happened? It can't be that bad?

"Linda one of our shareholders had a relative in the stark company and yesterday he saw Tony stark, a 5-year-old child, a 5-year-old showing a new circuit board he made to impress his father Howard. He made it alone in Howard's garage.

A 5-year-old child. And we have been working on the same thing with a huge team of technicians, researchers and engineers and we were done by a 5-year-old child. God! Imagine what will happen to our stock price when Howard no doubt will announce Tony as a genius and show this new circuit board. We will lose millions in one stroke. Millions!"

Linda heard the news about Tony and then she started laughing. She never felt Mark was so stupid. Your son is doing the same thing here but you just have no idea. Meanwhile, Mark felt Linda had gone crazy. It was possible. After all, she was his secretary and had some shares of the company as a reward.

"Well, I would have been shocked and told you, boss, that this is fake news or maybe do some PR or something but I also just saw a 5-year-old child making a circuit board and it was like futuristic if the word is correct."

"What? when did you meet Tony? and why didn't you tell me this?"

"No. Not Tony stark but Ryan Phillip. And you should go to your office first and talk to the engineering head and research team heads to understand the whole thing. I think the problem you are thinking about will never happen! Maybe you will start laughing too."

So, on that day when Mark discovered that Ryan is a genius, there was a big Press conference in the evening and Phillips company stock prices jumped so high that they crossed Stark market price. Next day same thing with Tony stark. Two amazing press conferences, two geniuses and a new generation rivalry between Stark and Phillips began.
