Now Or Never.

It was impossible for an omega, more than impossible for an omega to defeat a Beta especially that omega turning out to be Ariel who was barely even strong enough to defeat her own kind of werewolves.

But everything appeared very much real when Jacob stumbled and fell hard to the tiled ground losing consciousness caused by Dawn who knocked him down with a single forceful strong punch.

Was she really an Omega?.

Instead of victory celebrations, all Dawn could receive were murmurs which filled the entire compound arena coming from both the crowd and judges. She could guess her father to be among them too, because just when she stole a glance at him, his facial expression was unreadable.

Dawn went back in, allowing Ariel to be in control now and watched Jacob laying unconsciously on the tiled ground, she was so curious wondering whether she was the one who really knocked a strong Beta like Jacob down up to the extent of him being unconscious at that certain moment.

Slowly, Ariel turned around to find out whether someone else had helped her knock Jacob out but was relieved to actually see none, she did it!Ariel finally did it!! She defeated a Beta! She was definitely going to make history in the Mills pack today!.

Ariel's joy knew no bounds as she rejoiced enormously even though not even a single soul cheered for her, which she didn't gave a damn about, they all should go f**k themselves.

And at that same moment, something crossed her mind, that was for her to escape. Wouldn't it be better if she attempted escaping right now?Yes, everyone's attention was fixed firmly on her right now because she was the winner but it was much possible for her to make an escape right now.

The only person Ariel knew who was capable of catching her if she tried escaping was Jacob, but he was down right now. But him being down doesn't guarantee she could make an escape.

Roaming her eyes round the compound, checking out and studying everyone's movement, the ones who might be sent to capture her back if she tried escaping, Ariel observed there weren't many since they were all still wondering if she was the one who really defeated Jacob.

Escaping wasn't going to be an easy job, especially when her father's eyes were glued to her, Ariel could suspect he was just waiting for her to try something stupid so he could deal with her and remind her of her place in his pack, just because she was able to defeat a Beta doesn't guarantee she was now strong.

She was still as weak as f**k.

Though Ariel succeeded in defeating Jacob in the duel, Jacob really did hurt her a lot. The punches and kicks he threw at her were something else, that guy knew some good acrobatics and he surely fitted to be a Kung Fu master.

The pain Ariel felt right now wasn't just coming from a single part of her body but her entire body, especially from her face and the black eye she got in her left eye. And all thanks goes to Jacob who made that happen when he struck her with a vigorous punch.

Jacob was a physco.

For Ariel to escape, she has to make completely sure she is capable of doing it well. Shaking her legs a little bit, a hurtful squeak escaped from her lips when she felt pain, staring down at her legs, both of them were hurting and seriously bruised.

Small punch marks covered her legs and arms too, her hand travelled down to her lower abdomen and even without staring at it, Ariel knew she was terribly hurt. She was still going to heal in every aspect of her body but it was just with time.

How was she going to escape now with that bruised body?Staring at the gate, Ariel's mind ran fast as she calculated her means of escape. There were two male guards at the gate so it was clearly possible she wasn't going to make it, there was simply no way she was going to make it pass them.

Not with her passing through the gate with that injured body of hers, Ariel could make it through the fence of the gate but that would require her to jump over it. Jumping over the fence wasn't going to be an easy job either.

Because many things were bound to happen to her, getting her foot pierced by the gate spikes if she mistakenly got scratched by them when she attempted jumping. She was feeling so hurt and weak, so there was zero possibility of her escaping today.

But then, today carried a lot of good opportunities in it for Ariel which she absolutely shouldn't miss, who knows when next she would be allowed to see the sunshine from outside of the house and not just in that tiny crooked attic she was locked in that was too suffocating.

So even if she was going to break a leg, Ariel was still going to escape, it was now or never.

By now, Alpha Mills would have stood to his feet to announce the winner, but being too shocked to do that, his ass was still glued to his seat with his eyes on Ariel and his mind wandering around with questions like how was Ariel able to defeat Jacob?.

He wished for that question to have answers, but no one was able to explain that to him since they were all puzzled just like he was.

His daughter was the weakest among his entire pack members, someone who was unable to defeat a teenager, someone she was much older than during the duel they held last year was now able to defeat a Beta, up to the extent of him collapsing unconsciously.

What was she?.

Alpha Mills wouldn't lie, even though he hated Ariel, she still made him kind of  proud as a father at that certain moment by actually winning in the duel. The girl seemed to be progressing a bit and if she would keep it up, she was surely going to be professional.

As puzzled as Alpha Mills was, he still had to declare someone winner of the duel, so he forced his glued ass out of the chair he sat upon and moved towards Ariel to declare her winner. But just five steps towards her, he found Ariel running away from him.

Why was she suddenly running?, Alpha Mills wondered but then his mind told him something else. Ariel wasn't just running, with the speed of light she was running with, he could tell she was trying to flee!.

Ariel was attempting to run away!.
