in a rundown room a girl sleeped on a leather mat this girl as not normal she had pink hair that turned black at the ends her skin was spotless and what the biggest difference was her right arm was a stub an in the middle of said stub was a cluster of arcane vanes

'well let's think here what do I need the most well first is elemental body as it will just make me stronger in more extreme environments and elemental buff could strengthen my monsters an last would be mana call it just gives me more mana to use"

"well my status is absolutely massive but since this is done I guess it's time to test my skills and tame my first monster" she walked to the other side of her room grabbing a wooden sword

"well this will do even if this is not class affected well if I remember correctly the elemental mage uses a nature core and the best weapon for monster tamer is either a bow or sword whip"

Dawn walked out of her hut and started to go to the forest

"if I remember correctly in this area there are wolfs, slimes, and kolbalts the best is a kobolds but they will be hard to tame as they worship their insane God is its beast to find a wolf"

Dawn wandered around the area trying to find a monster but when she did it was not what she expected

"what is one of those doing here they live in caves" the thing she was talking about was a bone snail and well she found out why it was there

"ohh it is laying eggs" she the got a great idea

"well maybe when it is gone I take one of its eggs and hatch it and it will be easy to hatch it as monster only take natural mana to be born and simply I just force natural mana into it"

and so she waited till the bone snail was gone and grabbed one of the gooey eggs and ran back to her hut where she placed the egg in the middle of her room

"that was the esay part now comes that hard part" she channeled all her arcane mana to call the natural mana to the egg and the egg absorbed it all

an after multiple times it finally hatch and came out was a black snail with a bone white corkscrew shell and at the end of the shell was three holes with bone needles poking out

she used her tame monster skill before it shot the needles at her instantly it laid down and Dawn took that as it was tamed and checked its status

"maybe I should start writing down what I did every day for my journey I can start tomorrow as day 1 as must of this day was spent getting you Syn" after finishing eating her bread she laid down on her bed falling asleep
