AN: Here is the second make up chapter!

-Bounty Hunter's Association-
Ethan awoke to the sound of chatter not to far from him, and tried to open his eyes. They felt a little heavy compared to normal, and required a little effort. His limbs were a different story, however as he couldn't move more than an inch or so every few seconds. Since he could move that meant he wasn't crippled, but extremely sore and fatigued. What he failed to take heed was Vavrera, Carlos, and two others who were on his opposite side.
"Damn, you slept a long ass time. Although the injury's were pretty bad.", Vavrera said in a joking like manner. Ethan found it a little funny, but the pain he felt when just trying to chuckle made him decide against it. Carlos on the other hand walked over to Ethan and said, "Ok, kid. Take it easy, your body is going to need a few days to fully recover. Besides that you can spend some time talking to me, your favorite uncle!".
Ethan for the first time in years looked at his Uncle Carlos who after taking him in disappeared. It made Ethan happier than ever to see someone he knew, but sad as well when he remembered all the times he spent at home alone. These sad thought unlike the Happier thoughts were fleeting, and made him slowly form a smile.
"Well Old Man, I haven't seen you forever. What happened, for you to disappear all those years ago?", Ethan said curiously. To which Carlos responded by moving close and whispering in his ear, "I was shot and killed by some people I wronged. Although I got revenge for your mother in the process, which should bring you to at least a little closure.". Ethan hearing that last bit near the end seemingly gained an even brighter smile and said, "Did you make them suffer brutally for killing my Mother?", and Carlos ended it with "Hell Yeah I did!".
Vavrera who was listening was slightly intrigued but saddened by what she heard happen to Ethan's mother. The end of the conversation made her feel a little uncomfortable, but it didn't last, as someone from the BH Association made their way over. It was a male who looked to be in his forty's with grayish black hair and stood around seven ft. He went over to Ethan and bowed, since he watched the entire battle through a lacrima that was luckily enough not destroyed.
After bowing the man said, "As most would know any bounty hunter that normally gets a license starts at E rank, however certain individuals may get higher depending on what actions they take throughout the test. Now for the actions you took in stopping the giant creature, I would like to present you with an B-rank license. Don't get me wrong I would have rewarded you with an S-rank license off the bat, however I don't hold the power to give beyond a B-rank one. That said I requested for you to take two rank up assessment's, which you will be able to take at any time you feel ready. On behalf of this BH Association I thank you!". When he finished saying that he bowed once again and walked away passing out ranks.
Eventually the man came back to hand out the rank passes to others, while giving Carlos one even though he didn't register for the test. To which he just winked and did the 'I got you fam' with a thumbs up, which made Carlos chuckle. The ranks they got were as follows:

Ethan not being able to do much but look around moved his head downwards towards the Omnitrix. It seemingly had a weird green and yellow flash before seemingly sending a message into his mind.

Alert: 'One of the materials for recalibration has been found. (2/?) Unknown how many more are needed at present time. DNA detected....scanning.....sequencing....completed, DNA in close relation to species Appoplexian, unlocking DNA. Setting sample in transformations group 2.

Ethan after reading the message felt ecstatic, as 'Rath' was in his top ten of aliens. All because of the personality it brought, and some of the things it accomplished even though it wasn't particularly the strongest. That said he moved his hand to the green button and pushed it down, popping up the dial. Slowly he twisted the dial to the right revealing 'Rath', but he didn't press the dial down. Instead, he twisted it once more, and he was right as 'Way Big' wasn't there.
He felt happy about unlocking one of his favorite aliens, but a little sad as 'Way Big' would have helped when fighting bigger entities. Realizing that his body needed to rest Ethan pressed the green button again, which lowered the dial. Then he laid his head down onto the only pillow on the stretcher and went asleep.
A few minutes later through one of the associations open windows leapt a white fox who was frantically searching for Ethan. Upon finding him it jumped up beside him onto the stretcher and curled into a ball, before going to sleep.
