Odin Reborn in DC

After Odin's death by Fenrir he waited and waited. gathered strength from the dead and the offerings he received from the nine realms.

once Fenrir died by the hands of one of odins sons Odin absorbed his essence and grew stronger and wiser.

he bit his time in wait gathering enough strength so as to start anew with a greater potential.

Odin spent his time sending his valkyries and other warriors gather up other creatures and gods and taking their essence after absorbing enough Odin decided to contact a good friend of his Zeus and tell him about his plan of being reborn in midgard.

Zeus was exited to hear from his old friend and drinking buddy.

So he told him he could send a Amazon to find him.

Odin decided to accept his help and told him to look for the signs that signal Odin's return,

he would be reborn from one of his beloved berserker descendants with a long line of loyal and faithful descendants who have been following a prophecy that he would be reborn into their family and grow into his power until soon he would be fully integrated.

at least that was the plan until somewhere along the lines of time the family died off and although there where others Odin himself decided to just wing it and Was Reborn randomly.

Gotham City..

A pregnate woman who had just got out of work as a prostitute could be seen walking down an alley way when all of a sudden Shadows emerged from the darkness and cut off her escape routes.

"What's going on please I have no money I'm pregnant, please." the woman knew this wasn't good and she was terrified, she grabbed for the gun in her purse , distracted she was unable to respond to a shadow coming up behind her, showing to be a man in all black wearing robes and a hood covering themselves completely.

the man grabbed the woman and stuffed a rag onto her face forcing her to breath its fumes and rendering her unconscious.

taking the woman the shadows moved to a black van and put her in and drove off.

One of the shadows grabbed his balaclava and pulled it off showing the face of a middle aged man with an ugly face but with a muscular build and a beard, he looked very much like a bastard any way.

taking out a phone he made a phone call.

"ya it's me look we got another one here for your experiments and she's pregnant we have her and I'm taking her back to the lab." after a moment of silence a voice came through and his old and tired voice said.

Once she was brought to the lab men and woman in white coats made sure the child and mother where both healthy after getting paid the abductors left leaving the lady to her fate.

A man in a scientist lab coat walked up to the subject and spoke.

"subject 041 is in a relatively healthy state the embryo is in excellent condition proceeding with procedure Embryo Magica" after saying that a group of people in black robes walked over to the subject and took out a number of materials and began there work they carved runes and symbols onto the mother's flesh and proceeded with chanting and over time wisps of energy where seen coagulating over the women's womb the runes shined with power and over time the runes began to change as if rewriting themselves the cultist panicked at seeing the sudden change and the feeling of suffocation as there magic was drained and eventually a light so bright it blinded all those there until a boom was hird and the facility exploded.

As Odin was inside the womb waiting to be born some strangers kidnapped him along with his mother and then began to experiment with her.

He realized that the runes were going to sacrifice the mother to feed the child and strengthen his magic.

Odin decided to at least avenge his mother so he changed the runes made them highly efficient and volatile as a result all those in the vicinity were absorbed and used to strengthen the body of the baby and the left over energy was used to blow the facility and teleport Odins new body to a forest where he summoned the beasts of nature to care for him as his magical body didn't require food he still needed protection so he summoned his two raven's to act as cameras along with his two wolfs to personally guard him.

Now all Odin needed was sleep.
