Synopsis

Magic must be destroyed for peace to reign. Anything and anyone with magic is nothing but a monster. Estelria is built on a lie. Nite feels a shock pass through him as golden orange sparks fly across his body and knock him unconscious. He opens his eyes to a grassy plain and bumps into a merchant and an oracle who takes him to the kingdom’s capital. Wandering the streets of Estel, he finds himself in the middle of the bustling market. The aroma of spices and the scent of flowers blossomed in the air. Despite the crowd, it was relatively uneventful, till a woman cloaked in red fabric ran through the streets. With one step, she soared to the rooftops, taking a bite out of a ruby apple. Nite's mouth hung open as words escaped his lips. Wow! So cool! He had been fascinated and mesmerized by her. But to his surprise, a mob chased after her with weapons of steel and wood. In a world where magic is evil with the secrets surrounding it being buried in history, Nite is determined to get to its root as he navigates life in Estelria. This novel is updated twice weekly for health and personal reasons that I hope you can understand. Obviously, this novel will be free till completion.

Chapter 1What a pointless existence

DING DONG!

At the sound of the bell, people rushed out in groups, their chatter almost drowning out its ring.

"Why do people do this? It's so annoying trying to get through all of it without having my butt hit the ground," Nite thought as he shuffled around trying to avoid others' accidental elbows.

He stood on the sidewalk, taking a breath as the crowd dispersed through the gates. His eyes glazed over the tall buildings in front of him.

"Life... What's the point? We'll still all die at some point, and everything you think is so important will simply stop to exist for you. No, it's different. If life is just a moment till death, what's the point of hopes and dreams, goals and aspirations, worry and stress?

Life is pointless, at least for me.

I didn't just start thinking like this out of nowhere. Since I was a kid, life seemed dull and gray.

What's the point? Why was I born? What do I want for the future?

I couldn't answer any of these questions. It seemed like life was simply moving on, irrespective if I knew what was going on or not. It simply doesn't care what I do.

I'm simply the extra that doesn't matter. A mob character who life just passes by for the MC. So that means my actions don't matter."

Nite turned his gaze away from the buildings as he walked away from the school.

"I have no dreams, no aspirations, no reason to live other than that—just live.

Despite that, if I were to pick up a knife and aim it at my neck, I'd stop out of fear and guilt.

I can't be that pathetic. I have to at least try. Even if there isn't a point to life, what's the point of death?

To let darkness overwhelm you and fall to emptiness.

So people create goals and aspirations to chase after, hopes and dreams to hold on to, worry and stress over pointless things.

But it's not like that for me."

Nite lowered his head and slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Life truly is an amazing show. It gives me great seats to watch everyone else struggle to chase goals and cry over broken dreams.

Despite that, people look so alive and determined, chasing over pointless things. What's the need for a purpose in life? We'll all still die.

If I'm thinking this much over their pointless actions, which honestly seem to be more stupid and crazy than just waiting to die, does that mean that they're right wasting their time and effort like that?"

Nite arrived at the entrance to a large building complex. He walked in and went up to his floor.

He went to his room and sprawled out on his bed.

"Ughh... I hate school, and I hate going out. It's so boring."

He stood up and went to his bathroom. The warm water ran down his skin as he narrowed his eyes with his lips parting.

"Life, huh?"

He dried himself off and slipped into some house clothes. Walking over to his bed, he picked up his phone from the table.

The light from his device reflected off his face as he stared at the screen with his fingers tapping against it fiercely.

"Life's purpose? If life were to have a purpose for me, what would it be? What do I think is worth chasing?"

His fingers draped over his screen as a glare settled on his face.

"If life only cares about the MC, why don't I become one? It'll sure be a lot of fun.

The MC is the character who never gives up and has the most fun. They make lifelong friends and do everything in their power to help those they care about.

Since I was a kid, life may have seemed dull and gray, but every time I watched TV, it's always the same thing. They look like they're having so much fun. They look so cool. Wow! I wish I could do that.

"Fine then. I'll become the MC, the best there is." He screamed with his fist rising above his head.

The air crackled with a faint orange glow. Chills ran down his spine as he wheeled around.

His words inched out with a breath, "What's going on?"

A golden spark shot up from his hands and circled his skin. He chased after the spark with his gaze as more started appearing.

A sharp pain pierced his chest as the air in his lungs stilled.

The heat of the electrified air around him made his vision blurry as the world faded to white. Gravity felt like a dream as he floated weightless in the void.

His nerves were completely useless as his body went numb. The white shattered to black as the sounds of his phone felt farther and farther away.

The wind blew against his skin, its soft touch grazed by with the warmth of a summer morning. Below, something tickled his face. A wave of calmness washed over him as his eyes fluttered open.

"Where am I?" he muttered.

He pushed himself up, his eyes widening.

His ceiling had warped to a vast, clear blue sky adorned by a bright sun. His walls had disappeared to reveal a field of green grass stretching as far as the eye could see.

"It seems I've been transported to some other world. There's no need to overreact; I've read enough isekai to know what to do, and panicking solves nothing."

He rose to his feet and moved his head around.

"By the looks of it, I'm in some grassy plain. An average spawn point for an isekai.

Let's get everything straight:

1. I decided to become the MC.

2. Weird orange sparks suddenly knocked me out.

3. I'm in some grassy plains, probably in another world."

He balled his hands into fists, raising them to the sky.

"It seems like I'm in some sort of Isekai story, and I'm the main character. It doesn't make sense, but it's how the story goes."

He lowered his head with a smirk and crossed his arms.

"I already said I was going to be the MC, but I wasn't expecting this: suddenly being transported to another world the moment I decided to give life a purpose by becoming the MC.

Way to go for sloppy writing. You might be impatient to get everything out, Writer, but maybe you should try to think before you write.

If I've been chosen to be the MC, I've got to act like how they'd act. So what's the best way to start off an isekai?"

He slipped his hands into his pockets as he explored the grassy plains. He narrowed his gaze and tensed his muscles for combat.

Eventually, a growl cut through the peaceful swish of the wind. He ran towards the growl to find two people being blocked by a bear.

The bear was covered in dark brown fur, except for the fur around his chest, claws, and forehead, which had a lighter shade.

The bear growled again but didn't attack them. Its claws stood firm as it stood on its hind legs.

The man, clad in a silky green cloak, stood in front of the woman, who wore an all-purple attire with gold stripes.

The woman held a crystal ball close to her chest while the man was standing with both his hands outstretched.

"A bear?! Why?! What am I supposed to do against that thing?!

No one would know if I just turned back."

Nite slowly stumbled back till a sharp pain hit his heart.

"What am I doing? I promised myself to be the MC, but I'm backing away from a fight.

I can feel my heart beating faster than a bullet train, but remember, that's just your stupid instinct to run away."

He clutched his chest with his eyes narrowed and teeth gritted.

"Right here, right now, I promise to never run away from a fight." He whispered to himself as he charged off the high ground where he hid.

His feet landed squarely on the ground as he bent his knees to break his fall. He straightened his knees and placed his hands in his pockets.

"Who the heck are you?" The merchant said with a grunt.

"Are you more worried about me than about the bear? That's an honor."

"And what do you plan to do about the bear? Are you a knight or an adventurer?"

"I'd say I'm more of a traveler, but for my name. Call me Nite Nexus."

Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire

"Now, go forth, my mortal champion! Conquer this world—or else!" I lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving me a second chance in another world. There, I became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of my days. Sounds like a dream, right? In reality, it was anything but—because I became *BEE* royalty. A Drone Bee, doomed to die of old age in 2 months! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all the ways that matter.) The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a deadly task in a vicious world like this one. There are murderous insect monsters, colossal beasts trampling the earth, other civilizations, natural disasters, and the bitchy patron goddess who absolutely hates me. But as long as I have my brains, my bees, and the powerful genes my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable! === For those who want to know more: This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments. The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters. The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality. Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble. MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it. Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL. === Discord is up! Find it at -> https://linktr.ee/Garessta Updates: 2 chapters/day, right after the reset (with a 5% chance of running late). Reply to author's pinned review if you have questions. Also, although I realize the futility of this aim (at least right now), if this novel reaches top 15 golden ticket ranking (and stays there for a few days, obv), I will mass release 10 extra chapters! (within 30 calendar days)

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!
