Chapter 2 The vampire princess

At this time, in the northwest of the mainland, is the capital of the huge vampire kingdom, Terea. The magnificent royal castle is located here. The towering walls of the castle make people gasp for breath, silently conveying the majesty of the royal family.

The sound of a trumpet filled the hall as the doors to the throne room opened. The courtiers and subjects of the vampire kingdom gathered in anticipation of their leader, Princess Aria.

A hush fell over the room as Aria made her entrance. She was tall and regal, with long, dark hair that cascaded down her back in loose waves. Her eyes were a piercing blue that seemed to stare straight into the souls of those who gazed upon her. She wore a gown of deep red, adorned with intricate gold embroidery, that hugged her curves and flowed out behind her like a river of blood. Aria's body was lithe and graceful, but her expression was stern and unforgiving as she surveyed the room.

The courtiers and nobility bowed deeply as the princess entered, and they rose to their feet as Aria passed by.

"We are here today to discuss the issue of the southern border."Aria said.

Her voice was soft and elegant, but it carried throughout the chamber with ease.

"The messenger of General Trek from the south arrived at Terea yesterday" Aria paused, looking around the room, meeting each face with a gaze that only heeded to her will."The armies of the three human kingdoms have shown signs of large-scale assembly, and the beacon tower of Ashenvale has been lit."

She paused again, waiting for the murmurings of fear and dread to subside. "This signifies that the war is imminent. We should prepare ourselves for battle."

Aria's voice rang out with confidence. She hadn't planned on announcing the news so early—she wanted to give them plenty of time to prepare, but it seemed that she would need to speed things up.

"You are a capable group, and I am sure you know what needs to be done."

The princess spoke quickly, eager to end the meeting before there was any debate about the war. She didn't want to wait any longer than necessary.

"It is my decision that we should send the Red Blood Corps to the south. "Aria continued. "They are an elite force, trained to fight and survive in the harsh terrain of the South." Aria paused, waiting for the murmurs to die down. "If the human race attempts to attack us, the Red Blood Corps will stop them. They are the best fighters of our kingdom, and they shall bring victory to our cause."

"Yes, Your Highness!"Everyone in the court agreed.

"I don't think we can do this,Your Highness!"A man's voice interrupted everyone's agreement."We must take precautions to keep the north safe as well. We will start with the mountain passes. If the Red Blood Legion goes south, the werewolves in the north will take advantage of it"

"I knew you would come out and make trouble." Aria thought.

"Are you opposed because you can't bear to part with your own troops, uncle Ashemon?"Aria asked the man in a soft voice, but stared at his face with sharp eyes.

Ashemon was a tall and imposing figure, standing at 6 feet 4 inches. His skin was pale, a characteristic of the vampire race, and his eyes were a piercing shade of red. He had sharp features, with a pointed nose and a chiseled jawline. His hair was black as coal and slicked back, giving him a sleek appearance.

He was dressed in black robes that covered his entire body, with a long, flowing cape that added to his royal temperament. The fabric of his robes was fine, made from the finest silk and adorned with intricate gold embroidery. A gold belt was cinched around his waist, adorned with precious stones that sparkled in the light.

Ashemon's expression was one of stoic authority, with a hint of cruelty lurking in his eyes. He stood with his arms crossed, his eyes scanning the room as he assessed the situation. There was a slight smirk playing on his lips, as if he was amused by something that was taking place. Despite this, there was a hint of danger in the air, as if anyone who crossed him would face dire consequences. His demeanor was confident and commanding, a true representation of his power and influence as the hand of the king.

"I'm not opposed, Your Highness."Ashemon said,"But I would prefer to keep the Red Blood Corps out of danger."

As he spoke, he scanned other people with his eyes and silently exerted pressure, implying that they should not oppose him.

"Uncle, you mustn't underestimate the threat. If the human alliance attacks, General Trek's garrison alone is completely unstoppable."Aria said, ignoring Ashemon's attempt to silence her."When the border passes are broken, the human alliance can directly attack the capital. We cannot allow that to happen. We must put every resource at our disposal to prevent the fall of the kingdom."

"So my suggestion is that we should restart the underground capital plan!"Ashemon insisted."This is the solution once and for all. Back to the beginning of the vampire race."

"It's still too early to declare this the final answer."Aria disagreed. "The northern tribes are strong and loyal to their own kind. They won't betray us easily, and even if they do, we'll find out soon enough."
