Nice To Meet You, Mr. Xiao

S City, winter!

As night falls and city lights start to shine, snowflakes are fluttering chaotically.

In the darkness, a black, low-key luxury vehicle is driving swiftly.

"Squeak." The car stops at the roadside!

"Master, give me five minutes." The man in the driver's seat turns his head respectfully and says.

The back seat is completely black; only a deep, magnetic voice responds: "Mm."

Inside a high-end club, a petite figure stumbles out. The wind is somewhat strong, blowing her long hair into a mess, blocking her delicate oval face.

"What's wrong? I clearly had a non-alcoholic drink, why does my head feel so dizzy?" She murmurs softly, rubbing her temples with her small hands.

Gu Chuyan's steps wobble as the wind pushes her forward like an invisible hand.

She lifts her head, looking around; the neon lights make her eyes blur.

"Catch her, don't let her escape!" From not far behind, someone is relentlessly pursuing her.

"Quickly bring her back. Young Master Chen has a generous reward." In the luxurious club, several men barked coarsely, charging towards Gu Chuyan.

Gu Chuyan is slightly drunk; she wobbles and feels unwell after a few steps. The night wind is so strong that it pushes her towards the car. When her hand hits the car edge, she pushes, and the car door swings open.

She loses balance before she has time to understand the situation.

"Ah!" Gu Chuyan stumbles forward and falls in!

Upon falling, Gu Chuyan instinctively grabs onto something. The impact hurts her face, and she moans, trying to stand but her dizzy mind prevents her from doing so.

"Ouch, it hurts." She wrinkles her nose and moans in pain.

Xiao Mohan sits in the chair; dim light reveals his chiseled facial features. His deep, dark eyes are unfathomable; his high nose bridge, thin and sexy lips. His whole persona radiates an exceptional nobility, as though he's made to rule, yet without the brashness normally associated with it. Instead, he emanates an understated, deep elegance and indifference.

"You!" He watches in disbelief as a figure plunges in, holding onto his arm, and falls into his arms.

He can't believe that the woman who stumbled into the car is … wiping her mouth on his clothes?

"What's this? It smells awful." Gu Chuyan lowers her head, sniffing. The "cloth" she was wiping her mouth with carries a distinct masculine aroma.

A faint smell of tobacco, mixed with a hint of something else, makes her frown. She finds this unfamiliar scent somewhat unpleasant.

Xiao Mohan never thought he'd meet a woman who, right in front of him, criticized the way he smells! He can't help but sniff himself; he only smells clean, the only other scent being that of tobacco.

"Get up." Xiao Mohan says in a cold tone as he roughly hoists her up. A soft fragrance wafts towards him, mixed with a hint of alcohol. This woman has been drinking? He is dumbfounded for a second.

"Mommy!" Gu Chuyan's small face nuzzles comfortably against him, murmuring.

"Mm, feels good." She murmurs, curiosity taking over as she reaches out to squeeze Xiao Mohan's face a few times.

Pinching the tip of his nose, she moves her face closer to his, appraising him.

"Mm, is this a human? He looks pretty good, though." She mutters, seemingly 'oblivious' to the silent pair of black eyes steadily watching her.

At her comment, the man's face seems to turn green!

"Is this a human?" Is she questioning his gender? Or, perhaps, belittling him?

Xiao Mohan's dark, quiet eyes are aflame with anger, as though ready to set her on fire.

"Had your fill of touching?" Two fingers reach out, pinching her chin, pulling her body upright.

Gu Chuyan blinks her almond-shape eyes, looking at the man in front of her. The man is handsome, especially his deep eyes that seem filled with endless wisdom. He seems reserved and steady, his unobtrusive demeanor making people wary of approaching him.
