Naruto X SCOG : Wormhole Between The Two Broken Worlds.

*GASP*

I woke up with a start.

I wanted to open my eyes but an external force kept them shut.

'Where am-'

'Calm down child.'

A calm, lazy and caring voice spoke directly into my mind. It somehow brought out the characteristics of laziness in me. I was still panicking and afraid, but it all seemed so insignificant suddenly.

'My mind?'

'Am I hearing voices?'

'Well, you are. But not hallucinatory ones. I'm as real as I can be. At this moment, even more than you.'

'Where am I?' I tried asking the voice once again.

'You are in the world you know by the name, 'The Second Coming Of Gluttony.''

'The Second Coming Of Gluttony…? Seol Jihu!?'

'*sigh* yes. That was the name of my child. Unfortunately, he passed away.' A keen sense of pain permeated through her voice even among all the laziness.

'Passed away…? The Parasite queen killed him?'

'No. He underestimated the feeling of pain that came back to him with the dream about the future. He became a little too over-enthusiastic and took on a challenge he couldn't handle in Neutral Zone.'

'...I see. I'm sorry.' I could understand the sorrow that Gula felt. Because she'd already seen Seol Jihu grow up as a warrior once before, seeing him die had probably not done her any favours.

'....But why am I here?'

'Because you've been chosen by the world.'

'Chosen? By the world?' The words sounded more ominous than anything I'd ever heard. 

I couldn't understand who'd want to willingly subject themselves to the torture of being a Hero? Doesn't it mean everything close to you would be threatened to a point that only plot armour can save you!?

Why do such a stupid thing?

To show off a few moves with special effects? To do what? Impress a girl?

No thanks, I'm sure I have enough rizz in me to get a girl without showing off flashy martial art moves that'd need me to go through endless torture to learn.

'I had a family!-'

'You're an orphan.'

'I was about to propose to a girl I really liked!-'

'That was a dream.'

'I don't want to be chosen to do anything. Please let me go back.'

'Your wish to become a hero caused this mess. And unfortunately for the both of us, you cannot go back-'

'-I not going to play a game of chess between you and her by becoming your pawn!-'

Although I couldn't see, I could feel Gula shake her head as she touched my hair and brushed it softly.

'It is not that I don't want to. I could try. But you just can't go back.'

'Come on. How hard can it be to send me back? You can rewind time!'

'*sigh* It is because you are unique.'

'Unique? How? Do I have a special constitution? I'm a legendary once-in-a-lifetime genius? I don't care, I want to go back home.'

There are a lot of things that I still haven't finished! I haven't watched the end of One Piece! 

I mean doesn't every person wish to be transmigrated!? But do they really want to? No right? They'd love the comforts of their world more than anything else! Why live in a medieval world where a single corporation controls most of its technological advancements?

Why would I want to go any place other than my comfortable gaming chair that can become a bed?! Can your chair do this!?

'Do you remember the kind of fate Seol Jihu had?' Gula asked without answering my request.

'A Supernova?'

'Precisely. But you're a-'

'-Black hole and you can't send me to my world because of that?'

'...if only it were so easy. Your fate isn't represented by a black hole. Your very existence is a danger to this world and the one you're connected to.'

'Why!?'

'... because you're a universal wormhole. You connect two strangely different points in all of existence to each other.'

I became dumbfounded.

'What?'

Gula chose to respond with silence as she brushed my unruly hair.

'But if I'm a wormhole shouldn't I be able to return to my world!?'

'*sigh* that's the worst part about all of this. You've lost the connection you had to your old world. Instead, you've gained a connection to a different one.'

'What?'

Gula stayed silent once again.

'So I'm connected to two random worlds? And one of them just so happens to be your world!?'

'Yes. Your very existence has united the fates of the two worlds. You will be the one in the most danger in both worlds no matter where you go.'

'What's the other world?'

'Naruto? Is that how you know it?' Gula said, a hint of amusement in her voice.

There was a comfortable silence for a while before I gave up and asked what I really wanted to know.

'Can I ever return?'

Gula stroked my hair for a while before speaking with what I assumed was honesty, 'You can, but only if you're able to master your abilities to a degree that you can change worlds at will. Even then, you need to trace back the original connection you had. No one other than you can do that. Not even me.'

It took a few minutes for me to digest the reality of it all, but once I did, I asked, 'So what am I supposed to do now?'

'In this world, you'll be taking the burden of Seoul Jihu.'

'So I'll become him?' I asked with a little disgust.

'No. You'll be taking all his burdens because your wormhole entered this world after disintegrating and digesting his star.'

'Ah…'

Will she kill me for th-

'I will do no such thing. Fate is a fickle thing. Sometimes it is on your side, but other times the grass only appears greener on the other side.'

'...So I'll start from Neutral Zone then?'

'Yes. I will send you to Neutral Zone in a fresh body made by all the seven goddesses.'

'So I'll have all that good stuff like immortal body, ever-lasting youth, unshakable foundation that not even a master of the cheng ping clan a hundred levels above me can shake?'

'Hehe~ You think silly things. You know well that we cannot interfere freely with the balance of fate. And moreover, the more we interfere with your fate the closer the Parasite Queen comes to being able to use you to dominate the other worlds you are connected to.'

'*sigh* Alright, at least I have good talent right?'

'...There is one good news, you'll share this body when you enter the world of Naruto. So as long as you can improve your body in either world they'll carry over to the other.'

'At least I can get a pair of Sharingan somehow…seeing how they're traded like fruits and cabbages by the end.'

'Oh, and you must know this. Since your body, soul and mind are connected directly to the world of paradise, you don't have any chance of being revived after you die. Your death is permanent in both worlds.'

'Any more bad news? If I'm going to die at least tell me I'll die by being squished by your thig- Ouch! Ouch! Alright! Don't pinch my ears!! I get it! You can't take jokes!'

'....You're fifteen days behind everyone in the Neutral Zone. I hope you make the best use of your time. Not only do you have to go through everything Jihu did, you're going to go through even worse since the Parasite Queen will actively try to get to you so that she can conquer the world you are connected to.'

'Got it. I have a bounty on me.'
