The Nine Tails remained unyielding.

Finally, the Nine Tails spoke, its voice tinged with anger, "Do you think I chose this existence willingly? Your father is the culprit here. He split me in two, sealing half of me within your body. I have yet to settle the score."

"You caused the downfall of my family, and you claim you haven't settled the score?" Naruto's expression darkened, radiating a cold and ruthless demeanor.

Indeed, the Nine Tails bore a significant responsibility for the death of the Fourth Hokage. It dared to utter such words?

Naruto's defenses crumbled. Witnessing his parents sacrifice themselves for his sake, even without a deep emotional connection, left him with a profound sense of grief.

"In that case, what do you expect me to do?" the Nine Tails inquired, genuinely curious. It had encountered many humans in its long existence and served as the host for several Jinchuriki. Life had not been easy for either party.

The power of a Tailed Beast was overwhelming, instigating fear, hatred, exclusion, and slander. Even mere isolation could lead to profound loneliness and sadness.

Curiously, Naruto's approach struck the Nine Tails as unusual. Typically, Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts couldn't wait to avoid each other.

Tailed Beasts resented humans for sealing them, while Jinchuriki feared their bodies being overtaken by the will of the Tailed Beasts.

If it weren't for the mutual dependence between Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts, they would gladly wish each other's demise.

In contrast now people can't wait to throw eggs and stones at him. But Naruto would never hold a grudge against Minato. After all, Minato had sacrificed himself to shield Naruto from the Nine Tails' attack at a critical juncture. Naruto couldn't imagine doing the same.

He was still determined to protect Minato.

"So, even though I remember the painful scene of you taking my parents' lives, I understand that you were merely a pawn in the destruction of my family. You were a victim too, in a way. It's almost pitiable. You've been manipulated, first by Madara with his Sharingan, and then by the Uchiha clan. You must have your own grudges against them, right?" Naruto chuckled.

"The mighty Nine Tails reduced to a domesticated poodle? It's quite a tragic fall from grace, isn't it?" Naruto couldn't resist adding this remark.

"Enough," the Nine Tails growled in irritation. "Kid, release me, and I'll show you how I can bring Konoha Village and the Uchiha clan to their knees."

"Huh? Do you think I'm a fool? Letting you out would mean my demise. Furthermore, why would I let you destroy the village? You can't blame others entirely. It was indeed the Sharingan that controlled you, both times. However, it's not solely the Uchiha clan's fault. They might even face their own consequences in the future, who knows? I won't be involved," Naruto said, a hint of gloating in his tone.

Although he wouldn't personally seek revenge against the entire Uchiha clan, he was aware of the hidden truths.

But he had no intention of taking matters into his own hands; it wasn't his concern, so why not revel in their misfortune?

As for Sasuke, was he relevant to Naruto anymore?

He might inhabit Naruto's body, but he wasn't the same Naruto anymore. He was a transmigrator with his own thoughts and ideas.

The Nine Tails stiffened and roared angrily, "You cheeky brat! You're not adorable at all. Aren't you afraid I might devour you?"

Naruto remained entirely unfazed by this threat. He spread his arms and declared, "You can't. You can't break my father's seal unless I release it to you. And here's something else, Kurama, sooner or later, I'll willingly unlock the sealed prison door and ask you to cooperate with me. I need your strength."

The Nine Tails snorted dismissively, "Dream on."

As for the idea of harnessing its power and getting its active cooperation, Naruto had clearly crossed a line.

With unwavering confidence, Naruto laughed, "You're the one who's underestimating me. Though I'm still weak, one day, it'll be my turn to protect you. Kurama, don't underestimate me, and despite your millennia of existence, there are still things you don't know."
