Marked Saiyan 2

The Marked Saiyan

Chapter 2

Sitting back in my chair, I had to release a breath I had been holding in for some time now. It had been a few days now since I had arrived here on Terra. It was odd thinking of my birth, planet, or not a birth planet in terms like that. Pushing that thought aside, I almost rejoiced at the fact that there was no such thing as the X-gene here. There was no Charles Xavier or a Magneto in this reality.

Hell, not only was that good news, but the other flip side was that there wasn't the Fantastic Four or a Reed Richards and Susan Storm here in this reality either. Talk about dodging a massive fucking bullet.

What I did find though, was the standard Marvel Cinematic Universe bullshit. It is not bad but also not great; shit lets not talk about the fact that I was also apparently important enough to be ambushed by the Ginyu force. Well, the person who lived this life didn't survive, but what they don't know will definitely come back to bite them in the ass. It was funny how I was still wrapping my head around that bit of information, alright. Then there is the whole dicking down Captain Marvel bit of memories.

Star crossed lovers fighting over a planet, yeah. That I was not expecting to have memories of. That I will have to deal with once I see her again, but that would have to wait. Currently, she has been missing for like the last ten years, and now that I was merged with this Saiyan. I think I might actually know where she was located.

It also doesn't help that I am extremely aware that I am now sharing a universe with not only Thanos but also that little shit stain Freeza. I was blatantly aware of how powerful he was and that he could reduce this planet to rubble with just a twitch of his finger. Nothing puts things into perspective like knowing your species was exterminated, and the rest was far too self-centered and foolish to gather together and try to save the last of us.

I knew that wouldn't work just from my own Saiyan mindset, there were times I would lapse, and the instincts would take over. The need to find a strong opponent to test my strength, it was all there, but I was trying to temper it with my human sensibilities.

Other than my instincts, I was extremely aware and worried about what a full moon would bring since I still had my tail. I was not looking forward to that and had been using Google to find myself an abandoned island to transform on.

Then there was also the fact that my Ki was green when I used it. I wasn't very updated on my Saiyan lore, but I was sure there was only ever one person with green ki. That only briefly puts me at ease since I didn't share the same name with him. Then again, the Ki boiling underneath my skin said otherwise. Yet, I don't have memories of walking across all opponents, and I'm alright with that.

The ping from that watch on my wrist alerted me to my computer time being up. Instead of going to the librarian and getting some more time added. I checked and found that I would have to be in Vegas within the next thirty minutes. Saving my work to the flash drive, I got from the Kents. I then cleared out what I was researching on the pc for before leaving out the side door to the library. I stuck the flash drive into my jeans pocket before taking a discrete look around, I saw no one. Instead of jumping up and flying off, I did a quick scan with my ki sense as I walked towards the library's back.

The small sparks of flames I felt came from inside the building and walking along the street, although there was one I felt that was rapidly approaching the town. There was a certain zest to it, but I ignored that for now since they were not in my immediate vicinity.

Since I didn't sense anyone around me, I took a might leap into the sky before flaring my ki. My body came to a sudden stop as a smile cracked my features. Tilting towards the east, I pushed my closed fist forward and flared my ki once more as I shot off towards Las Vegas.

Jessica Drew

Agent of SHIELD

Jessica was cruising along, enjoying the air condition of her shield issued vehicle as the dash started to light up. The dash read that she was getting a call from HQ; rolling her eyes, Jessica picked up the call with a press of a button.

"Agent Drew here," Jessica answered the call professionally.

"Agent Drew, this is tracking." Someone on the other end of the line answered back. "We regret to inform you that satellites have picked up someone leaving the town. From the heading, we were able to tell that they are heading towards Las Vegas."

Tired squealed as Jessica pulled over to the side of the road, "Elaborate?" She asked as her good mood flew out the window.

"Roughly fifteen minutes ago, we picked up a flying object within the area. After checking satellite feeds, we found a green blur leaving the town heading east."

Jessia gripped the steering wheel for a moment before she replied, "Vegas is in the east."

"Correct, we also do not have anyone within the area."

She took a moment to think as she reviewed what little information they had on this flying alien. From what they would tell, the alien would fly into the town ahead every few days, but that changed with the recent development.

So now she had two options, either go to Vegas or stay in town and wait for the alien to come back. Considering that this was the first time there was any deviation, Jessica decided to stay at a town motel.

"I'm going to check into the motel in town, crunch the data for anything unusual. Then once you have it gathered, send it to my secured computer."

"Affirmative, tracking out."

Jessica pressed the button on the dash before following that up by searching out her sleeping accommodations. Sighing to herself, Jessica pulled the vehicle back onto the road. The quinjet did take some time to get here, and the drive alone was already wearing on her. So the only thing Jessica wanted right now was to relax before her prey came back to town.

Maybe she could talk to some towners after a nice soak. With that in mind, she took a left at the light.

Argus

Las Vegas

Underground Fighting Arena

From a distance, I could see the MGM hotel; this was my signal that I had to drop onto a roof and make the rest of the way on foot. It was one thing to be in Las Vegas as a human, but it was another to be here with an alien body and experience it all.

Looking around the roof, I descended before locating the door that leads towards the stairwell downwards. Looking around for any cameras, I found none. A quick yank on the door had it busted open, and I let myself inside.

Jumping over the railing, I floated down five floors before I heard someone talking on the lower levels. Getting back on the stairs somewhere around the thirty-sixth floor, I headed into the hotel. Looking around for a second, I found the floor map on the Southside of the level.

Double-checking it, I was able to locate the elevator on the east side and in the middle of the level. Sending a smile at the couple waiting for the elevator, I ignored the look the lady was giving me.

It was clear that I was no ordinary human with how my Saiyan heritage made me a pretty large dude. I was already standing at six feet before, but now I was easily pushing seven with muscles on top of muscles.

The chick licked her lips at me, and the poser guy tried to give me a sneer. All he received in reply was a raised brow before the door pinged, lobby. My primal instincts reared its head as I snorted at the wimp while walking out.

Handing the bellboy a ten, I took the cabby he had waiting at the hotel entrance. Calling out the address for marks and fourth, I relaxed into the seat. Closing my eyes for a moment, I took the time to sort through all the scents I was picking up.

Oddly there was a hint of ozone mixed in with a zing of something strong, but I marked those of being in a major city. The ozone was clearly electrical, but I had no clue on that zing smell that I was picking up.

Signing, I decided to get my head in the game as the taxi pulled into traffic. It didn't take too long to find myself a flight club because this was Las Vegas. Hell, all I had to do was ask some of the farmhands, and they had at least four options for me.

Once I had those, I went around doing the good ole curb-stomping until I was invited to a more private battleground. Those fights were easy money, but I needed to make the big bucks, and fighting in a concrete pit for mobsters and online people was where the real cash was.

I had no qualms in raiding them or some gangers, but this wasn't some comic book and big things like that carried consequences. I broke no doubt that I was picked up on a satellite on the way down to earth; what I didn't know was who's radar I was on.

Since the news hasn't announced my arrival yet, it was safe to say that NORAD didn't pick me up. That would leave either SWORD or SHIELD if either excited in this world. The thing was, I wasn't sure about either because SHIELD didn't have a website you can just go to.

It was easy to learn that there was a Triskelion in Washington DC, but the name wasn't online, so I was inclined to think of SHIELD. As I was thinking, the driver had finally pulled out from the almost standstill traffic. We drove in silence for a bit before he pulled up a block from where I wanted to be.

Getting out of the cab, I could smell the blood and fear in the air. To my advanced senses, it was truly intoxicating. I was a good block away and I could feel the beat in my chest from where I stood. Taking a moment to bring down my ears' sensitivity, I found out that the average human couldn't hear the beat.

That could only mean that the fighting pit was lined with sound dampers, and I could work with that. Since I knew that I was close, I looked around once more before following my nose. I traveled on foot two blocks to the west and then one block South before I found myself standing in front of a dry cleaner.

The front was closed which was easy to tell, so I made my way around the back and found a group of guys standing in an alley. Static and chirp reached my ears, so I knew that one of them had a radio.

Ignoring them, I kept walking until I had arrived at the back door, reaching out. My hand moved to bang out the code, but some fool decided to grab my arm. Unfortunately for him, he was not strong enough to stop me from banging out a shave and a haircut in code.

The one that tried to grab my hand was pulled forward as he tried to be tough, "Fuck you, man, pay the toll."

Turning to look down at the fool, I noticed the smirk on his friends. Sneering down at him, I slammed my head forward performing a headbutt. There was a sickening crunch as his nose broke. My leg moved and swept him off his feet, and everyone watched as he went down in a bloody heap.

"Mutha fuc-."

"Urgh, the testosterone." A sultry voice said from another direction.

They all looked at the voice's direction, but I paid it no mind as I walked inside the building. I had felt the large ki some distance off and then felt how it jumped in an arc before landing less than five hundred feet away. The Saiyan in me wanted to check out who it was and see if they wanted a fight, but the human in me knew better. Well, the nerd in me that carried all of my marvel lore and knowledge could tell that high ki meant meta-human.

I could also tell that she spoke up at the perfect time, keeping me from breaking more of the guards. It was easy to see that she didn't want me to kill the lookouts even though there were hidden cameras. It was easy to pick them out since they covered sixteen different angles of the alley.

Ignoring the sounds, I waited in the hidden elevator then gave a smile as I watched her walk around the corner. Long legs for days with shapely muscular thighs that were a mix of well-defined muscles and thickness.

She wore knee-high black wrestler boots with red dots all over them. She was wearing an all-black leotard with the same red dots styled on the front. I noticed that she wore the same styled gloves, but her right arm was covered with a fishnet that went up to her shoulder that had a bag.

"You eyeing me up, big boy?"

Looking up from her legs, my gaze briefly noticed her massive bust, I met her glowing red eyes. I noticed the flowing black hair trailing down to her waist before I answered back.

"Legs are a ten if you were wondering," I replied easily. Her lips quirked into a smile at that. I watched her out of the corner of my eye, lean on a wall as she looked me up and down.

I could tell she was checking me out because damn human closes did not fit the way they used to. This body was massive on so many fronts, it was clear for any who see me to easily tell I wasn't normal.

"You gonna have to give me your name if you're going to rate my legs, hun."

Instantly my manners kicked in, but they fought with my Saiyan side. Instead, I went with something neutral.

Turning, I smirked at her before giving my name, "Argus."

"Ohh, I heard about you, the guy who's been beating fighters left and right." She chuckled as she said that. "Song Bird's been talking about wanting to fight you."

"And what about you?" I asked, brow raised as my ki churned. "Looking for a challenge?"

"Please, if you can make it through ten bouts tonight, I'll take you on myself."

"I never got your name?" I replied, but I was starting to put my own clues together.

"Earn it," She replied as the elevator beeped before opening the doors. "If you can do that, maybe you can find out why I'm called the crusher."

I watched her ass in the leotard walk away for a moment before I followed behind her. Stepping out of the elevator, I checked my sides before spotting the sign-up booth on the far end. Putting my name down for ten fights, I was informed if I could last that long. Then I would be invited back if my showing was good enough.

Once I gave him my stage name, I walked over to the betting booth and put the three grand on myself. That was what I was able to save up since my food expenses were so bloody massive. Watching the show was one thing, but having to feed your Saiyan stomach was another, and fuck did it cost a lot.

Taking my ticket from the booth's guy, I took a second to locate the locker rooms. Ignoring my sense of smell, I dropped my carry bag before pulling out my lock and change of clothes. Swapping my jeans for some trunks, I then wrapped my hands.

Once I was finished was when I realized that I needed some music. I had ignored the surrounding sounds, but this would have been one of those moments an MP3 play would have come in extremely handy.

Walking through the door that was labeled, fighters. I was led into a gym where some were trying to get a quick extra pump. Others were shadow boxing while a few were watching the matches. It was hard not to with the massive tv on the wall of the fights going down.

It wasn't odd to notice that I was the only one without a support team, but I was fine with that. One the screen, I noticed her. Sitting on the side large couch overlooking everything as if she was a queen in her court. One leg tossed over the side in careless abandoned, she sat and judged the fights, interesting.

I was ignoring that little voice in the back of my head that wanted me to steal her before performing the mating press. I turned my attention to the arena I would be fighting inside of tonight. It was easy to see that it was a mix of the octagon and wrestling ring from my old life. That was where the main fights were, the other fights, though. They were being conducted in a two-man in one man out inside of a ten-foot deep concrete pit.

Those fights were bloody and descended into a brawl that was more of a deathmatch than anything else. My Saiyan bloodlust peaked, but I forced it back down because I knew that none of these people were my opponents. It was plain as day, and I was going to fleece them all for some quick cash.

It was a hundred grand for ID, and I was not a legendary sucker, so gambling was out. That left me with earning it another way, and what better way than to earn it with my fist. I was a Saiyan after all, fighting is in my blood.

Turning my back to it all, I found a spot to sit down and meditate. I kept my ears open as I sank into my zen flow. It was easy to feel my ki, but it wasn't so easy to instruct it to flow around my body.

I was starting to notice that the more and more I tried to pull off some bullshit cultivation method. I didn't get why it was not working, but I had to keep on at it. If I was honest with myself, I wasn't happy in how ki lept to be unleashed but didn't when it came to reinforcing the body.

There wasn't any super tech available for me to scan and find out, so I had to do it the old fashioned way. Minutes went by but felt like hours for me as I rolled my ki this way and that. It was such a monstrous thing with no control besides what I could do with it outside of my body. I kept it going until I felt a flicker of a ki flame approach my location.

My eyes snapped open, scaring the attendant, but I ignored her as I stood in one fluid motion. Ignoring the lady, I walked the way she was trying to point me towards. Walking out of the waiting room, I was greeted with bright lights all around with camera's between them. I could tell with the red blinking that I noticed the instant I was in the clear.

It was easy to ignore the announcer's sounds as I took in the massive dude before me. He was standing at six-plus easy weighing over three hundred pounds. I watched with a nonchalant type of look as he glared at me. It was easy to tell he was trying to intimidate me, but he was such a poor fool, not understanding that it won't work.

The sexy number girl came in and walked around with the one on her sign for all to see before stepping out of the ring. Idly, I noticed how there wasn't a ref in here with either of us. Funny enough, now that I was paying attention, I noticed that the ref was on the outside of the ring, talking with the corner-man of my opponent.

Things were as hype as they could be as I noticed the shimmering screen to keep bloody from hitting the crowd. Well, that was what they might have told the crowd at least, but I knew better. The bell rang for the match to start, and I didn't even bother to put my guard up.

Walking forward in a slow stroll, I watched the anger cloud my opponent's features. I dodged back, then left from his punches. Sidestepping the kick he lashed out with, I put an arm under the leg before pushing it upwards as I swept the leg.

Jumping backward onto the cage of the ring, I pushed myself off before delivering a people's elbow. The ROCKS elbow was always a classic no matter what anyone says, period. Twisting around, I wrap an arm around his neck before rolling us over. That was the one chance I gave him, and he took it, slipping out of my grip.

We parted, and I blocked a kick he tried to perform. We traded a few blows, and he could tell that I wasn't getting any close to being tired. As we circled, I noticed the time getting closer and closer to the end of the round.

My bet was to win the first round, so I had to kick it up a notch. Dashing in, I sidestepped a punch while going into his guard. Two quick punches to the liver and I knew he was finished, but I had to give the crowd the flare that they so desired.

His outstretched arm went over my shoulder as I wrapped a meaty hand around his neck. The comical widening of his eyes almost made me feel sorry for what I was about to do. Then that was when I remembered how much it took to feed my bottomless stomach, and my compassion flew out the window.

Twisting with a jump, I brought my opponent down hard onto the mat. Once, twice and then three times before the blood made it past his lips and his corner-man called the fight.

Too easy.

Rolling back to my fight with a one-handed flip, I watched as the stretcher came in for the guy. Damn, I didn't even pay attention to his name, ohh well. The announcer guy came and held my hand up for the masses, and that was when I allowed the sound to wash over me once more.

"GIVE IT UP FOR THE SUPER SAIYAN!!!!!"

Ohh yeah, I can definitely get used to this.

=/\=

After my sixth fight, I was escorted up to the VIP room where the sexy lady in the red and black leotard was relaxing. On the way, we passed at least three other VIP rooms and one model, and can I say damn. Marvel sure knew how to put a lady together because everyone was eye candy.

It just sucked that my Saiyan instincts were marking them all as weak. Well, not the one in the elevator, no, she wasn't weak at all. The door the guard stopped at had the name GRAPPLERS in bold.

Yeah, I knew who she was now for certain. Hmm, I wonder if the Power Broker was watching everything that was going on right now. Those thoughts shut down as the guard that walked me here just turned around and walked away with some haste.

Snorting at him, I opened the door and stepped inside.

"I did not tell you that you could enter."

Looking at the back of her couch, I ignored the guards that had their guns trained on me. Walking past them, I stood at the bar and poured myself a drink.

"If you didn't want me to enter, you should not have invited me here." I replied while mixing myself a gin and tonic.

I could feel her looking at me, but she was focused once more on the fights when I turned around.

"Are you not afraid that I might have you killed?" She asked me which I returned with a smile.

"Many a men have tried to kill me," I said, sitting down on the couch beside the one she lounges in.

"But, I am no man." She returned, and I could hear the warning in that.

"True," I said as I finished my gin and tonic. Bloody human drinks can't get me even tipsy. "So did you call me to tell me why you're called the crusher or something else? Because I didn't think I would see you until after my tenth fight."

"No," She returned with a patronizing smile. "I called you because you will no longer be fighting for the night."

"Bullshit, I have money to win." I replied, heated. That had her guards flinch, and one of them pulled the trigger. I heard the parts grind together as the hammer cocked and fired. My head snapped towards his position by the door, and my sight zeroed in on the flame mushroom that appeared at the end of his handgun.

My ki sang to my senses as I moved with a breath; the bloody thing couldn't make up its mind. Meditating and it doesn't want to listen, fight, and it's all for it. I really need to figure out my Saiyan biology soon, I thought as I pulled the bullet out of the air.

Snatching the spent shell from its arc, I then placed them both down on the table before the Grapplers' leader. Still moving faster than the eye could see, I gave the other guards a quick tap to the back of the head and took their handguns.

Applying some strength, I made six small metal balls while I stuck her guards in a corner. Sitting back in my seat, I enjoyed the look of surprise on her face as reality caught up with her. I watched as she looked at me, the table, and then her guards in the corner of the room.

Those beautifully painted lips curled into a smile as the door to the room was shoved open.

"Take them and leave us," She spoke, eyes never leaving my own. The guards standing at the door looked at her and then at me before following her commands. We stayed in silence as the guards worked to take out their fellows. Once they were gone, she spoke, "The names Davida Devito."
