chapter two
Lucifer's POV:
Its being one year since Sarah's passing I never went back to the hospital and ordered that her body had being transported to her old pack I never mourned her it's not that I didn't want to it's just that I couldn't and I will never come to terms she's gone the only thing I have done is seek revenge over the past year I killed and hinted down till the last enemy I can have ive sent insiders into other packs casting a spell onto my guards so that they would appear as someone's mate getting me inside details about which packs that certain pack has in their killing list
my pack increased tremendously due to the amount of packs I've taken over one pack I would never go to war is the blue moon pack I've got to admit James is strong but not strong enough my love for his sister restrains my hate for his pack
i sip onto the whisky left in my cup as the stripper moves her body flexibly onto the pole I pushed $500 into her bra threw back whatever was left in my cup set the glass down as I walked out of my club
i went to the pack mansion as I ordered for my trusted omega who my mate once showed her kindness to Esme to bring my lunch
i sat down as she served me
"how do you do Esme ?" she smiled replying
"Good alpha my Granddaughter Rose turns 18 in a few days time meaning she will shift "
i smiled remembering the day my mate shifted how she had challenged me and had won not because she was stronger but because she had my heart wrapped around her fingers
I was cut out of thought by Esme groaning and holding onto her hip
"are you okay Esme ?" she nodded and smiled
"what is it then ?" i asked I truly was concerned no matter how I tried to hide the good Sarah brought in me it always showed towards the people of my pack I'll admit towards my enemies I had no heart but ... i had to keep the pack in check I could not go about planting trees with the teens helping build pack houses and stuff I do often visit the park I took Sarah and was going to take Sarah that day I had planned to propose to her but when I walked out the bathroom there she was dead on the ground a dagger that I had not placed in the room ,in her stomach one of my fucking daggers
"Alpha are you okay ?"
I was cut of my thoughts turning to Esme with a sad smile
"I'm fine do you want to see the pack doctor?" she widen her eyes shaking her head
"I will abide by the rules just because I'm elder do not mean I need to visit the hospital"
"I've being meaning to change that rule so ... do not worry " she nodded and picked the tray up
" excuse me alpha " I bowed my head as she walked out
I made a deal with her and that was I'd treat her nice but in order for her not to tell anyone I had to buy her a pack of chocolate every Sundays halerious I know she had told me her granddaughter forbids her from eating any sweets because of her health and now here I am feeding her
after I ate breakfast I went to sleep
Seth had found his mate one of the omegas I can't quite remember her name something with a J or G I was quite happy for him only that I was lonely I prayed to the moongoddess to never remate me again I don't know what I'd do of I had to love someone again I'd for one feel guilty along with fear... fear I might lose them again

ONE WEEK LATER...
i woke up early that morning I had a business meeting with the blue moon pack regarding our borders and the war between our guards
i showered and changed into a black tuxido with a red bowtie styling my hair back with gel I sent note for Esme to make me breakfast with one of my guards
i walked downstairs as I sat down when Esme walked in I got a scent a familiar intoxicating scent my eyes blurred as my pulse started beating stronger my head spun she looked at me confused as Marco growled
"MINE" I turned to the old women no ...she can't be my mate she was litterally shivering
"alpha?"
" WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH ?" her eyes widen as she bowed at my power
"my granddaughter"
Marco barked ,growled ,howled you name it his mate was back his love was alive she was here once again
i gritted my teeth clenching my jaw trying everything in my power to stop him from chasing her scent I needed her god I didn't even know who she was and yet she's driving me insane
"alpha are you okay ?"
"Give me a second " I slowly pushed the chair in and walked into the back yard where I saw Seth training
i walked up to him taking off my coat and shirt along with my shoes "may I join ?"
"wow what's up with you ?" he asked laughing at me I rolled my eyes ever since Lilly left to stay with her mate in the love pack I had only Seth left and through the past year he had become like a brother to me ... someone I once hated
"i think I just found my mate " his eyes widen as he walked up to me and placed his hand onto my shoulder smiling at me
"atleast-" i cut him off
"no I'm not getting over Sarah I may have a mate once again yes I'm going to find her and mark her just for Marco my love is Sarah " his grin turned into a frown
"who is she ?" he asked looking at the forest
"Esme's granddaughter" his eyes widen as he took a step back amused
"wow good luck with Rose she's a hot headed women "
"sure" he smiled and said
"i would train with you but unfortunately I have a mate to attend to I can smell her from her " he wiggled his eyebrows as I scrunched my nose
as he walked into the mansion I decided to fight on my own training in different positions and strikes after a while I was glistening with sweat my muscles started to ache just when I got her strawberry and vanilla mixed with some cocoa smell Marco growled I could help it I couldn't resist her anymore I saw her there she was her black hair reminding me of Sarah only now Roses hair was in a short bob her long thin legs her beautiful sculpted body infront of me
i slowly walked towards her as she transformed into her wolf which was white and fluffy just like Freya my heart sank and at the same time jumped with joy I slowly pulled my pants off and turned into my huge black wolf slowly trailing behind her I then sniffed a rabbit Marco growled wanting to see his mate hunt but she only stood there and after a few seconds past the rabbit I growled but followed her on instinct after a while of running she stopped at a lake where she shifted into her human form here she was infront of me naked her beautiful body being highlighted by the sun i so badly wanted to run in and just hold her In my arms something deep down told me to love her no matter how much I prevented myself that space in my heart only belonged to Sarah Lewis no one else would ever be loved by me
after a while she shifted back and ran to the pack house before stopping behind a tree and after a while coming out of the shadow of the tree dressed up marc whimpered at her being dressed but I'll just say his horny from the lack of sex
i the watched as she walked into the pack house after a while I went and picked my pants up shifting and pulling my pants up finally I found my mate and I'm never letting her go
