Leo felt a surge of dread as he faced Father Charles. He has been forced to believe that the man was not an ordinary clergyman, but a holy warrior blessed with divine power and a golden sword that could cut through anything but he couldn't depend on the ring. Releasing his power would only cause more trouble for him.
Leo glanced at the ring, noticing how the bull head carved on it seemed to glare at him with its ruby eyes. He felt a surge of heat in his palm, as if the ring was burning with impatience. It wanted him to use his power and battle this preist as if it had some sort of personal vendetta against Father Charles but Leo resisted, remembering the last time he had gone all out. He had barely escaped from an angelic scout, leaving behind a trail of destruction and corpses. He had also lost control of himself, becoming a mindless killing machine that could not distinguish friend from foe.
