The Sunless Ones (2)

Xander's eyes darted toward Leena's lifeless body, and his hands plucked out a Moondust Bomb strapped to his belt. He hadn't come up with a plan as yet, but it didn't matter. 

"Don't do it!"

Master Arwin's words were blown into the howling wind as Xander ignored his warning and tossed the Moondust Bomb in the direction of the paw prints.

As the glass sphere shattered, it sprayed Moondust everywhere, instantly revealing the Sunless Ones. Covered in the silvery white flakes, they could no longer rely on their Invisible Aura to cloak their physical forms.

Master Arwin shuddered as he gazed upon their nightmarish forms. The Sunless Ones looked clothed in blackened skin, which barely reflected any light. Their eyes were permanently shut due to the hairy growth on their disfigured faces, and their humanoid limbs twisted backward.
