Introduction of the Seventh Prince to the Duke’s Mansion

Chapter 16

In the rules of nobility in their Kingdom, servants interfering on the master's matter is punishable by exile to the country. Especially the higher ranking ones, they have special privileges according to the power they hold.

"Mistress Liana, I am afraid that if we follow your command we are going to be reprimanded by the Duke" said the head maid. She is the only one who has the guts to disobey the second wife of the Duke. "As servants we also have rules to follow just like higher nobles" she added.

Liana flushed with shame and disappointment. It is her chance to ruin the reputation of the Duke's daughter so only her daughter can be known as the only Duke's daughter in the Empire. Although her daughter has relationship to the Crown Prince but her position is not stable because she is not the Duke's real daughter but a child from her former husband which is a fallen noble. She just tricked the Duke on marrying her.

"What is the meaning of this?" asked the Duke who is currently approaching them.

All the servant sweat coldly when they see the Duke.

"This is my chance!" Liana mumbled to herself.

"Duke the servants said that Reina brought a man after coming to the Palace and directly entered her room together with the man" said Liana as if she truly cares about the person involved.

"What!" the Duke's face darken when he heard what Liana said.

"I asked the servants to open the door talk to her may be because she just did it to agitate the Crown Prince to get back to him" said Leonor although she knows that the two's engagement was annulled already.

The Duke didn't answer her but instead ask for the duplicate key to the servants.

"Who the hell is that insolent man? He has the guts to take advantage on my daughter" mumbled the grand Duke to himself.

After a minute one of the servant hand him the duplicate key to her daughter's room. By the time the Duke open the door, the scene that all of them witness maid them flushed.

Reina is sitting at the top of the man while she is grabbing his upper clothes. The posture is really suggestive. The almost puke blood on what he see, he entered the room directly with a darkened face. At the same time Richard, who just entered the house from outside happen to see all of them in front of her sister's room.

"What happened here?" he asked confusedly.

"Reina brought a man and entered to her room with him" said Leonor to his stepbrother.

"Let's see now what will happen to you stupid bitch. Now that the two people who support you are here. Seeing you fall into disfavor is worth watching" Leonor mumbled to herself.

Leonor and Liana smiled to each other sneakily.

Inside Reina's room...

"Father, do you need something from me?" she asked seriously without even standing up and remain sitting at the top of the man no other than the Seventh Prince.

The Duke was stunned and before he could react Richard also appeared.

"Hey, brother what are you doing here?" Reina asked. She accidentally saw the servants and the mother and daughter duo aside from her father and brother.

She stands up as if nothing happened.

"Why are you all here? Is there something wrong?" Reina ask.

"Little lady what is the meaning of this?" asked the Duke dangerously.

Reina didn't understand what her father said but not the Seventh Prince.

"Hello father, pardon me for my late greetings!" said the Seventh Prince politely when he stand.

The Duke's face became darker which suggest an upcoming storm.

"Who are you calling father? The Emperor is not here" answered the Duke sarcastically to the Seventh Prince.

"Father, what are you saying? I already told you that I am going to choose him as my new fiancée" Reina said.

The Duke felt like puking blood from what her daughter said. "She really is stupid" the Duke mumbled to himself.

All the people who are present are shocked when they see the man that Reina brought. An extremely gorgeous man with Silver gray hair and blue eyes. He becomes more seductive and elegant with the robe he is wearing untidily because of the commotion that happened a while ago. They are more shocked when they heard what the Duke said.

Liana and Leonor are also shocked.

"A Prince! She brought a Prince" Liana mumbled to herself in shocked.

"Mother, how is that possible? That man is a Prince but I never saw him even once" Leonor said. "I've met almost all the Crown Prince siblings except for the Seventh Prince…." She added.

"What!? That is the Seventh Prince!" Liana exclaimed. They can't believe what they are seeing.

"The rumors are true he really possess a beauty incomparable to any man or woman" said Leonor with admiration in her eyes.

Even the servants can't stopped themselves from being bashful while looking at him.

"By the way everyone I want to introduce to all of you, my fiancée Seventh Prince Hellery Ecclaire. He will be staying here up until our engagement is held" Reina said to all the people present.

"That is the rumored Seventh Prince, he is really attractive more than any man or woman" mumbled the other servant.

"Good day! Seventh Prince nice to meet you" Leonor said and show her most attractive smile that almost all men likes to her trying to impress the Seventh Prince of her charm.

The Seventh Prince just nod and hugged Reina from behind.

Some people present gasps with excitement while others felt envy and jealousy. While others are just angry literally angry like the Duke and his son Richard.

"Now, why are you all here in front of my room?" asked Reina innocently.

"Someone said that you had a man with you when you return from the Palace and even brought him into your room" said the Duke formally.

"Well I really do because we need to talk about something" said Reina. "By the way I want you to prepare the room beside mine to be his room during his stay here" she added.

The Duke and Richard smile warmly while the Seventh Prince gritted his teeth.

"This woman is being schemed at yet she isn't aware. This people is trying to isolate him to his wife but it doesn't matter. Once she become my woman she can never go away into his grasps" said the Seventh Prince to himself.

Liana and Leonor didn't speak any word during the time that Reina's room door opened.

"Please follow me your highness" said the head maid.

"See you later Reina" said the Seventh Prince sweetly.

Reina felt goose bumps all over her body. "This man really can seduce anyone" she said to herself.

When the head maid guide the Seventh Prince into his room all the other servants disperse. Liana and Leonor look at the Seventh Prince. Leonor look at the Seventh Prince with full of passion and desire to possess. It didn't escape to the Seventh Prince line of sight, he felt disgusted. That look is the same to those people who desire him to be their possession.

"Mother that woman is really shameless asking to possess that kind of high quality man" said Leonor with envy. "Mother I want that man to be my pet. Although the Crown Prince is also handsome but he can't be compared to the Seventh Prince" she said.

"If I become the Empress having a male pet is not an issue because even the Emperor has his concubine" said Leonor dreamily. "If I obtain that man I will be the envy of any woman that bitch didn't deserve him" she added.

"Ssssshhhhh…. be patient Leonor there is always a right time for everything. So no need to panic I will not let that bitch have that man" said Liana while rubbing her daughter's hair.

They silently leave the Reina's room together with the other servants.

Only Reina, the Duke and her brother Richard remain in the room.

"Care to tell me what exactly happened here?" asked the Duke to her daughter.

"Father I told you already the Emperor ask me to choose who I fancy among his children and I asked him that I want the Seventh Prince. I also give him my condition that I want my man to be mine alone and from the moment that I obtain him he will stay with me no matter where I am. I also request him to stay with me up until our engagement ceremony" Reina said to her father and brother.

"What! You asked the Emperor of those things?" the Duke said dumbfounded.

"Yes, is there something wrong with my request?" Reina asked.

"I really admire your guts sister" said Ricardo while rubbing his chin.

Reina face darken "What do you mean by that brother? Are you insulting me?" asked Reina with irritation.
