The Mafia's Bait
After the death of his father, Mario Belluci is forced to return to Northern Italy, a place he has duly stayed away from for ten years. As the ruler of the criminal underworld in Sicily, he is angry to find that his late father was surrounded by sharks who had been threatening to overthrow him and take over the rule of Northern Italy. Angry and disillusioned, he steps into his father’s shoes and plans to execute the enemies and rebuild the kingdom from the ground up. Noemi Armani was sold to Ignacio Armani after he won a gambling bet. After working for him for five years, Ignacio Bellucci dies and is succeeded by his distant son, Mario Bellucci. Noemi doesn’t think any man could be worse than Ignacio, but when Mario succeeds his father, she learns that this man is way worse. Yet, she cannot deny the potent attraction between them. But when he turns her into a pawn in the dangerous game that is his life, will she be able to forgive him? Soon, she will find out that in the Mafia underworld, love comes at a cost that most aren’t willing to pay.
