Nidia ate a small mouthful of spaghetti, not showing any panic on her face at all. She even sipped some water after eating.
"I envy your ignorance and idiocy." Nidia said, sipping more water. "it's like you're still children. You must be pretty happy since you don't have adult worries, no?"
Fay narrowed her eyes. "What did you say?"
Molly was so furious that she slammed the table. "Nidia, who do you think you're insulting?!"
"Huh? Can't you tell?" Nidia said frankly.
"Now I envy you even more! I was being so obvious with my words, but you still have no idea that I was talking about you. Saves you the energy from being angry, how nice."
Just as Fay was about to raise a hand against Nidia, she saw Jackson returning to the table from the restroom.
"I don't need to do anything! Mr. Cunningham will give you a taste of your own medicine!" Fay retreated to her seat, holding her chin up high, waiting for a good show to unfold.
