Mistress of the First Flame: Kaleidoscope Tachyon
Flame.
Everything started with fire.
With it, disparity came.
Cycles, Concepts, Everything was started by this very fire that ignited all of creation to progress.
However, for it is time for it's disappearance, destruction will began anew.
A girl forgotten on how she arrived at this brittle grim world of undead and ash.
She strove from killing undead to killing hollow deities.
For once, it began with the time where a chosen undead is called forth to link the fire as started by Gwyn.
"In the Age of Ancients, the world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of gray crags, Archtrees and Everlasting Dragons.
But then there was fire, and with fire came disparity. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light and dark.
Then from the dark, they came, and found the Souls of Lords within the flame.
Nito, the first of the dead,
the Witch of Izalith, and her Daughters of Chaos,
Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights,
and the furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten.
"With the Strength of Lords, they challenged the Dragons.
Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales.
The Witches weaved great firestorms.
Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease.
And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the Dragons were no more.
"Thus began the Age of Fire. But soon, the flames will fade, and only Dark will remain.
Even now, there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights.
And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed Darksign."
"Yes, indeed. The Darksign brands the Undead.
And in this land, the Undead are corralled and led to the north,
where they are locked away, to await the end of the world.
... This is your fate."
Walking in the ashen ruins of the Kiln of the First Flame, an armoured knight with a broken straight sword strode. Heading towards the kiln to slay Gwyn again and link the fire once more. Not for the world, not for Gwyn and the Kingseeker nor for the people.
After all....
"......Cycles be damned. I'm killing Gwyn with a +10 Broken Straight Sword just for satisfying my boredom. Hunting knowledge of space from the flame is getting me bored." The girl under the steel helm muttered as it continued to walk.
It is not the first time she linked the fire.
But it is certainly not the last time she will do so.
After all, she seeks the knowledge inside the flame.
The ability to shift to another world, or more precisely, the ability to return home, to earth.
She will link the fire in order to do so.
Then again and again, reaching far in the future as she went on.
To the walled kingdom of Drangleic.
The purpose? To link the fire.
How? By journeying towards the draigleic castle to obtain the rights to the throne. The Bearer of the Curse? She got numbed after dying and dying again, her resolve was solid as she never had gone hollow, as her only purpose was to link the fire and to return home.
Even at worlds end. As the fire fades, it attempted to resurrect the old lords. To link the fire once more.
And she did so...
Clutching the First Flame in her soul, Ortenius finally defeated the Soul of Cinder.
.....After fighting him for like 100+ times already, barring this final run NG+???
With it, she can finally go back to her life back on earth where she held a promise with the only family she had left.
Stained with the blood of countless lives she took, souls she plundered and corpses of gods she slew. Ortenius lifted her head, staring at the bonfire.
So, using the knowledge she plundered from the slumbering flame by linking the fire and sitting in the throne innumerable times, she finally did it.
She returned home.
"Why, by gwyn's beard, that I'm on the wrong earth?"
.....or she did not.
This is the story of a chosen undead, a bearer of an old curse, and an unkindled undead who is lost and finds a way back home, who became the primordial fire itself.
