Monarch of Shadow Dragon

I heard the clear voice of a young woman. I thought it was my alarm clock. 

I swear it wasn't. I definitely wasn't dreaming, either. The voice had undoubtedly echoed in my head. A black holographic screen was floating in mid-air.

I warily opened the notification while saying a silent prayer.

Exterminate Trihexa the beast of apocalypse. Who is sealed at the end of universe.

 As soon as I saw the screen, I couldn't help but curse:

Even the strongest Gods weren't able to kill that terror, here I am with the power of an average protein-deficient high school student, sigh~

Akeno poured tea in Issei's cup,

"Oh, I'm so sorry look like we are out of-

"Never mind," Issei said, 'how bad my day can be...'

A bright blue flash appeared in room; the visual in the hovering screen caught their attention.

"They are here!" Rias said, it was a metallic giant about four meters tall stepping out of blue portal, his thick arm was holding a great sword . . . same one that "beheaded" Great Red, followed by his army.

"It's can't be!" Valery said, "I still need time!"

 When Machine God Regalzeva killed, Great Red there was no one to stop them from leaving their universe—in search of wealth and power, many supernatural beings even some Gods left, and those who remained were constantly fighting to protect their homeland.

 There was a third faction, who wanted things to be just like before, "Great Red" died, in a sense they knew if they wanted to live peacefully—without fear of outsiders, they needed to find something that restore the balance.

 And they got their chance when one of the fallen angel researchers found the power of the Holy Grail. Why does the host of Holy Grail "Valerie Tepes" have "three" secret gears in her…

"I'll try to buy time ...but I can't hold them for long." Issei said, even with his AXA armor, there is a limit to how long he can stop a monster like Regalzeva and his undefeated army.

 He rushed out of an old school building, or buildings that look like it, after all, they are in a special dimension—made for surpassing the magic power of a particular Evie God—Regalzeva.

 With his enhanced vision, he saw being standing a few miles away.

The area out of school was a barren land, protected by reaming members of DxD and gods who also had similar agendas. However, Issei knows they are too weak to buy time. 

Army of machine god was marching toward him, it was made of countless monsters that had their body part replaced by mechanical ones, humanoid robots, small battleships, tanks even Cyborgs!

He equipped his dragon defecation armour, after years of training he doesn't need any incantation or cant to erupt his armour.

'Let's take care of the army first, he also wants that right? To show him my power?" Issai thought as he looked toward Regalzeva, he was sitting on a blue metallic throne at the same place where the portal appeared. But his army was moving forward.

He charged back canons to their limit. 

Wuuummm

Beams of jet-black light short toward the army of Machine God, 

BOOOOOOM! 

As a cloud of dust settled, there was no army....!

"Mahahahaha!" a mad lighter of Regalzeva echoed through the whole battlefield, "fascinating, to think I will find someone like you in this black water universe! Let's not west any time!"

Creak... booooooom!

Sound of a metal door busting open rang in the old school building, issai was unaware the one member of Regalzeva's army had already infiltrated.

"Equip yourself with any weapon you can find!" The head of the research team shouted. 

He looked huge holographic screen in corner of hallway. The screen was split into two halves, one was showing a white pair of wings, Divine Dividing in a glass chamber, other was a timer, giving them hope...

'We are so close, we can't let anyone ruin it!' he thought. They aren't warrior, some of them never even touched a weapon. But today if they aren't able to buy some precious seconds...

Rias shot both of the orbs towed him, when the orb was about to hit him it stopped in mid air... he then caught orbs made of power of destruction, which was supposed to be untouchable... with his bare hand!

A cold sweat roll down Issei's cheek, he was in his most powerful full armour...an evolved version of Apocalypse Answer Arms AxA, which was power armor that could be worn on top of his dragon defecation form.

 In that form—he can destroy a mid-size solar system or ...go head-on with dragon gods, but the enemy, whose magic power is sealed—is tossing his like a rag doll only with his physical straight for the last ten minutes...

"Look like you didn't have enough motivation . . . maybe this can help?" 

Issei swallowed hard, 'don't tell me, they already...'

 Regalzeva took out small beds and threw them on the ground. A triangular screen appeared in the air.

Inside it was a Cyborg, holding a girl by her neck. Issei can't see her face, but her crimson hair, and that torn uniform…

"You!" Issei shivered in anger, even Dadrig started chanting for "Juggernaut Drive"

he gritted his teeth "I will kill you!" 

"I was looking for some good opponent, with whom I can fight as much I want…" Regalzeva holed his great sword with both of his hands… golden magic circle on his chest faded away because of the impulse of power!

"it was a good fight....

Let's end this…" a vortex of purple energy appeared around his sword.

As Dadrig chanted armor started materializing, unlike before, red and Jet-black armor was more beast-like, as if it was "a wild animal out for blood". 

In her last fight, Ophis transported her all power to Vali and Issei, as Vali breathed his last berth all the power of infinity moved into Issei's body.

The whole dimension starts collapsing… 

Issei's Longinus smasher which has a power of infinity and even the power of great red overpowered by Evie god's attack. 

A diagonal cut appeared on Issei's body, a cut was too thin to see by eye, but it was cutting his heart in two…

'No… I can't die here!' before he even completed his thought his consciousness faded away… 

"My lord... I eliminated all insects" 

"I will reward you later." 

Regalzeva said to his herald who just eliminated all rebels.

"Can I extract his soul, my lord? It can make a fine weapon." Herald said as he looked toward the body of Issei.

Regalzeva nodded… 

he took out a cube made of black metal and threw it toward body; it started hovering on top of it. a red orb shot out of Issei's body and moved toward the cube. 

However, before the cube catches it a golden color grail snatches it and disappears into thin air!

Darkness, all I can see is darkness as far as I can see, or even further. If I am not mistaken those invader has special devices, that capture the soul of their enemy and use it to make weapons that are similar to the secret gear. 

 A vision came into my mind, it was my hometown, those Evie God destroyed all, and the weapon, which they were holding, was my secret gear! 

"NOOOOO!" I shouted from the depths of my soul. 'I can't let this happen I will not become a weapon to destroy my kind-'

 Suddenly Jet-black aura surrounded me, it was a familiar feeling, I felt this in the dimensional gap when my body was destroyed by Samael's poison; when my soul got separated from my body! 

 However, that feeling didn't last for much time. I found myself in a completely white room, In front of me was a woman, her hair was like a night full of stars, from the look of her she was in her mid-20s but I could tell she was some of the oldest existence.

"We don't have too much time, listen to me carefully," she said and posed, 

'Is something bad about to happen?' I thought, 'Who is she? I don't remember seeing her in past' 

"Regalzeva is not the threat, it the one who will come after you, when you defeat all Evie god's"

"uggh...!"

she growled in pain.

Godden vines start appearing on her body...

"It's my time to do the same what my other half did to seal that beast, brace yourself. . . . It's going to be painful!" she said as she took out a jet-black orb, which was half filled with black smoky liquid! She started purring her power in it, and her hair started losing its color... no, her whole body was degrading, as if she was purring her life itself in that orb...

"Are you giving me secret gear?" 

"No, I'm making you one..." she said as she suddenly appeared close to me and smashed that orb inside me– 

.....?! 

I suddenly felt intense pain; it was a thousand times worse than Samael's poison! Because of the poison, my eye started losing light! my surroundings started blurring. 

"When you awake you will become the strongest secret gear in existence, but is not all, you also—" her body degraded... I was about to lose consciousness because of instance pain... 

... 

"Wake up! Wake up! If you don't wake up, I'll…I'll…I'll kiss you…!"

 "…Ngh." 

The alarm clock spouted its typical Yandere line, but it wasn't sufficient to rouse its owner. 

"Ugh...!"

He just tumbled out of a nightmare and flat onto the floor. 

That guy was me, in case you hadn't realized. 

'What weird dream-'

I heard this robotic voice in my head, 'maybe that dam clock is finally broke?'

...HUH!! 

I stood up and looked at my surroundings, I was in my room or I say, in my old room; before Rias renovated my house!

Suddenly a memory of a strange woman comes into my mind. Valerie used the power of her Secret Gear Holy Grail to send my soul into the past, instead of Vail's soul. However, before I think anything a bright flash of light followed by a black holograph, which has a golden latter appeared in front of me.
