Since there was a limit on the quota of players, naturally, the faster one was, the better. Guilds like Void Blade that didn't lack money would definitely use scrolls in order to fly there. However, teleportation scrolls were considered rare tools and had all been hoarded by the large guilds in Twilight City, such as Sanguine Alliance and Void Blade. Therefore, the other players could only walk over.
After leaving the city lord's mansion, the rich players rode on their summoned mounts and headed straight for the city gates, leaving the others looking over with jealousy and envy.
Even though the game had already introduced the mounting system, mounts are still considered rare at this stage in the game. The cheapest yellow horse that could increase the user's speed by 10% cost over a thousand gold coin per horse. Needless to say, the higher tier ones would cost even more. Hence, only top tier experts could afford this expenditure for now.
