As she was contemplating on what to do, she heard a slight noise to her right. It was a little far from her, however, she still turned her head to look at the place where the noise had come from. However, just like before, she could not see anything.
She sighed and squatted down. The darkness was so thick that she could not even see the tip of her nose. She sighed continued to look around, hoping that she could see something in the darkness.
The noise came again, this time louder than before. It sounding like claws scratching on a metal surface. Adley's face contorted into a dark look and she looked to her right. This time, she could see a shimmer of light.
"Is anyone there?" she cautiously asked, but did not take a step in that direction.
The light moved forward to Adley. It was a pale purple color and was shaped into a ball that floated a few meters in the air. Adley cautiously looked at it as it moved closer to her. As it did, the area around her became a few degrees warmer.
