Partying at the Nightclub

In the end, Diane put a phone call to Christian.

The phone rang and rang, uptill three good times without an answer. Diane almost gave up.

"Why is he not answering?" She asked herself as her brows furrowed. She was worried that Christian was ignoring her.

Even though she didn't know the reason she was restless, she still wanted to hear from him hence, she decided to try his line one more time.

The phone rang again until it quietly disconnected.

'Maybe he doesn't want to speak to me,' She concluded.

At the other end, Christian who was helping to put one of the twins to sleep had no idea that the phone he left in his bedroom was ringing until it was time for him to retire for the night.

"I hope you have a good night rest," Susie said as she gazed at him gratefully. Pointing at the sleeping babies, she whispered, "I hope their cries in the middle of the night do not disturb you."

"What?" A line appeared on Christian's forehead immediately. He never for once considered how the newborns' cries would disturb his sleep before travelling down to Vancouver.

Now being reminded of it, he didn't know how to feel. But when his sister saw the ugly expression on his face, she chuckled. "Just kidding. Your room is soundproofed."

"You got me right there." Christian sighed. "As much as I love the babies, I could need some rest tonight."

Susie patted his arm gently. "Go ahead." She smiled and watched him walk away.

Returning to his bedroom, Richard was in time to hear his phone ring. He took quick strides towards the work desk to pick it up.

It was a call from one of his lawyers. As soon as the line connected, he heard the male voice from the other end.

"Sir, we've got eyes on Phillip Sanders. He walked into Allure Nightclub some minutes ago," the lawyer reported.

"Good." Christian looked pleased. "Don't miss this opportunity. I assume that the team is ready right?"

"Yes, Sir. We have started putting our plans in place. I will give you a call in the morning to give you feedback."

After the call with his lawyer, Christian saw the calls he missed from Diane. That was over half an hour ago, but he didn't call her back. If it was urgent, she would have left him a text.

Another reason he didn't call back was because it was late into the night. He thought that she would be asleep at that time, plus he was tired and wanted to rest.

At the other end, Phillip was having the best night of his life flirting with young women, drinking and dancing with them.

He had the money to spend, so getting a private room and having women surround him was not a problem.

"Make any order you want, the bills on me!" He announced as he raised a bottle of an expensive scotch in the air.

Hearing that, the women in skimpy dresses rejoiced and clamoured him. They wanted to be in his good graces.

Phillip felt on top of the world having not to lack any woman he wanted. He didn't mind spending a lot of money when he wanted to have fun because Diane's assets were going to make up for it.

Amongst the girls in the room, Phillip's eyes landed on a particular young woman who seemed calmer than the rest. She was dancing by herself with a bottle of beer, enjoying the music blasting through the speakers.

Instantly, Phillip became interested in her. He got to his feet, removing the hands of the other girls that clamoured him and walked to that particular girl.

"What is your name?" He whispered from behind her as his gaze raked her short red dress.

Immediately, the woman turned around with a small smile. "Angel."

"Seriously?" Phillip asked, raising a questioning brow. He didn't look like he believed her one bit and he was already on the verge of losing interest.

Seeing that, the woman gazed deep into his eyes and asked, "Do you think I'm lying?"

Phillip didn't say anything. Instead, he observed her. "I would never lie about my name when someone like you can easily find out the truth," Angel explained.

"You know me?" Phillip asked, looking interested as his gaze fell on her chest that was literally pupping out of her dress. At the same time, he felt a finger on his jaw that lifted his gaze back to her face.

"Keep your eyes here," Angel commanded with a naughty smile. "Of course, I know you. Your family is famous or were you expecting not to be recognized?"

The corners of Phillip's lips curled into a smile. Immediately, his right hand went to her waist to draw her into him. "You look so young. Are you sure you have graduated from high school? How old are you"

"Hahaha…" Angel laughed, stepping away from his tight embrace that had her soft breast pressed to his chest. "You are so funny." She never answered those questions.

Phillip watched her for a moment before leaning in to kiss her neck as he reached out to hold her hands.

Angel shrugged her left shoulder as she felt his breath fanning her neck. The next second, she placed her manicured fingers on his chest to push him away.

"What are you doing?" She asked, looking a little confused and displeased.

Seeing that she refused, Phillip became more attracted to him. She wasn't throwing herself at him, meaning that she wasn't an easy girl.

Since he had all the patience in the world tonight, he will take his time conquering her before taking her to his bed.

"I would like to know you more," he whispered, finally keeping a little distance between them. "Tell me more about you."

Angel looked around with a line on her forehead. "This place is too noisy. I don't want to shout every answer."

Immediately, Phillip took that as his chance. "I know a place that is quieter. Let's go there," He said to her.

"Is it safe?" Angle asked.

"Of course!" Phillip said immediately. "You will be with me all the time."

Angel looked like she was contemplating on his offer before nodding. "Lead the way. I will get us a bottle of drink and a glass from the table."
