Luna isn't just a simple girl. Others might perceive her as such but this book smart person is hiding something deep in her mind. She promised to hide it forever and lived as a normal person would but some force didn't want to waste such talent. One unlucky day, she found herself in a mysterious place untouched by the modern stuff she's familiar with. The people wear weird clothes, the houses looked old-style, and everything is so simple. It might look simple on the surface but that world had always been full of mysteries hidden deep within and waiting to be found. The place is just like her. She did her best to keep her secrets but the longer she lived there, the harder it is to hide her secrets in the dark. "There's no helping it, let's just embrace the truth," she uttered. "Keep it easy, young lady," a man in his deep, cold voice appeared behind. "Alright" "B-but get away from me" ------ Daily updates
The sun already rose when Luna woke up. She slowly opened her eyes while removing the maroon blanket over her body and stood up with her wrinkled nightdress and messy hair.
Luna went back to her senses after she washed her face with cold water. She hurriedly cleaned herself and dressed up in a new dress.
'I'm an awakened mage already!' she thought.
Luna hastily went down the stairs and happily greeted everyone she saw even the servants. Happiness filled her entire mind and couldn't wait to try her newfound powers today.
"You woke up really good today Luna," Ryle said.
He couldn't believe to see her like that and was even more energetic than him today.
The two kids also noticed the excited look on Luna though they understand her feelings since they were the same when they awakened their magic which was not that long ago.
"Good morning Luna!" They both said.
They were greeted back with a sweet smile and the twinkling eyes of Luna.
"Good morning," she said.
During breakfast, Luna stopped paying them attention and eat how much she could with her grumbling stomach. She remembered that she skipped dinner yesterday.
All of them already knew that she would be filling up her energy with food.
An hour had passed and they were in the garden, practicing magic. Ryle, Erik, and Irene were on the left side practicing and whose tutor was still traveling to Magus Nation from a faraway country. They didn't have an academic study today so they were already practicing early in the morning.
Meanwhile, Luna and Akiro were located in the left part of the garden's outdoor training grounds.
"Start practicing your time powers first, we never knew when the next big wish would arrive," Akiro said.
His time powers were slowly coming back to him but with Luna's peculiar situation, he wanted to know what she was doing with his time powers.
"Alright," Luna said.
She quickly formed the pocket watch with the same speed she practiced last time. It didn't improve since she didn't practice time powers and have been focusing on many things like her magic element powers.
The golden pocket seemed thinner and smaller but the silver crown was still beautiful as ever, the unknown engraved words were still there and some white tiny jewels surrounded the front of the watch which was not there when she last summoned it.
Akiro expected it to change since her time powers were decreasing but the additional design wasn't to be expected. He didn't have a solid idea so he chose to observe for now.
Luna stopped the time after that and looked around her. Ryle, Erik, and Irene were like statues in the garden except they weren't made of stone.
"You're doing good despite the decreasing powers. Let's move to your next magic," Akiro said.
The time returned. Luna thought how they would practice her healing magic until she saw some servants carrying a bunch of injured rabbits in the garden.
Her stomach seemed upset and she closed her mouth upon seeing that scene.
Akiro looked at her with a blank face. "Get used to it Luna. You'll see more of it since you're a healer and the academy isn't as peaceful as you think," Akiro said.
Well, Luna agreed but she promised to herself that she would not let her teammates injured to somehow avoid seeing the horrid appearance of an injured person due to magic.
Although scared, she walked near the most injured rabbit and did her best.
'A carbon-based life is made of cells. My healing magic would repair those cells and organs with an increasing speed like time and replace those lost blood and other parts with converted magic,' Luna thought.
With her advanced knowledge in medicine compared to Magus Nation's people, her magic seemed to understand her thoughts and her ability in healing seemed to increase a hundred times.
The golden flames engulfed the rabbit while Luna's hands were directed at it. Her mind continued to focus on what she learned from school. Her advanced lessons compared to her peers on Earth seemed to be useful in this world.
The flames disappeared and the rabbit became as healthy as before.
Akiro was once stunned again since she looked like she already understood the complexities of healing. It was something that would not be mastered by looking at the mundane words of the books.
'Wait,' Akiro said.
He was then caught in the realization that Luna didn't come from this world. It would be possible that she interpreted how healing works on Earth.
But her great comprehension helped a lot. A normal person would take a few years to master a certain work especially healing.
While he was busy thinking, Luna already healed the rabbits one by one and was soon encircled by the jumping rabbits. She gently crunched down and patted the rabbits' heads.
"The golden flames are so strong. I think I'll work slowly and see if I can heal two at the same time and three at the next, though I won't be doing that when I'm healing a human" Luna uttered.
Akiro agreed to her suggestion.
"Next time, I'll bring you to one of the South Village's infirmaries to heal humans," Akiro said.
Soon after, Miss Zione appeared. Luna didn't fail to see her fingers that had small drops of blood in them.
"Master the forest's training ground is ready," Miss Zione said.
Luna walked near her and took her hands. There were small cuts around Miss Zione's hands and she wanted to heal a human. Focusing her flames only on her hands and cuts, the warm golden flames began to cover her small injury.
"It's done," Luna said.
Miss Zione's eyes widened and talked.
"There's no need to heal a servant like me, Lady Luna," she said.
Her eyes were still cold.
"You're already my dear friend Miss Zione and I care for my friends," Luna said.
Miss Zione was confused for a second, not because of her usual kindness but upon seeing something mysterious in her eyes that seemed to feel that she had to be thankful for Luna's actions. She was just introduced to her true personality like a friend who knew all her best friend's secrets.
Luna released her hands and sweetly smiled.
"Lead us to the place," Akiro suddenly said.
Miss Zione quickly followed and walked her way to the forest with Luna and Akiro at the back.
While walking, Luna was shocked that there was a huge forest near the garden. She didn't know it since she was avoiding being lost in some unknown place again.
After minutes of walking, traces of blood around the trees were noticeable. There was a small place with uprooted trees and the stench odor of blood could be smelled in their distance.
There were two injured huge wolves with different colors. The other one had light gray furs and the latter had a darker shade of gray. Small animals could also be seen that seemed caught in the fight.
"Your pet wolf was in a fight with this dark gray colored wolf. I both stopped them and since you instructed me to look for injured animals, I gathered both of them here," Miss Zione said.
"Well done," Akiro said.
Luna gulped upon seeing the wolves with their almost showed-up organs. The injured were much larger than a small rabbit and the blood was gushing out of the unconscious wolves.
'I-I was suddenly given a hard task...,' Luna thought.
