Sarah's pov

"What?" Daniel asked immediately he stopped coughing. After spraying everyone with mouth water... gross... but there was no time to start feeling disgusted since he started having a coughing fit and I had to pat his back

"I'm sure you heard me the first time Daniel" his dad replied

"You fired Him?!" Daniel raised his voice barely able to contain his anger

"Yes" his dad replied with a smug look. Is he kidding me

"But Mr Chris is like family! He's been working here since you, yourself, were a boy!" D retorted. This man is really getting on my nerves

"I wouldn't call him family. And yes he's been working here for long time which just goes to say that he's old and wasn't able to perform some duties I needed. Hence, he became a liability. And you know what I think about liabilities" he made sure to look at me while he said that last part.
