2 Justice for the Forsaken (pt.2)

Long ago, when the world of Tauras is nothing more than just a blank canvas.

"gods" of Tauras toy with the idea of creating sentient life.

And so they did, humans were the first to be created, then followed with a various branch of beastkin, Elves and countless humanoid creatures.

Before they know it, their little toy had completely filled Tauras.

"gods" were ecstatic and patiently wait for their toys to annihilate each other out of existence.

But everything progress without any war, human were busy fighting among themselves, and Beastkin could care less about the world outside their eternal forest.

Sensing that their world is not quite entertaining as intended, the "gods" decided to create new creatures that will later be known as Daemons hoping that it will.

The entities were a little disappointed when their little toys did not play their role.

So they had made things more interesting, by using their influence within human society, they deem all Daemons as evil beings who seek to destroy all mortal lives. Some chose to believe it, and the non-believers were to be considered heretics.

Seeing that they have been forsaken by their creators without any justification, the Daemons tried to take vengeance upon these so-called "gods."

Their little revolution, however, failed.

The Daemons forces were immediately obliterated by some unknown force.

The Daemons were forced into the pit of hell where their race will be used as puppets for the entities entertainment.

Eventually, one of the entities, Gabriel began to think that these creatures are not to be a toy with, to banished them for what seems to be an act of justified revenge.

It believes that behind every Bestkins, Humans and Daemons lies the unbreakable survival instinct and to be view as the annihilator is not something that should be bestowed upon on anyone.

The entities tried to express their sympathy.

But instead of listening, one of the entities struck it with a golden spear.

As Gabriel fall from the heavens, it saw it's power being drained into the golden spear.

At that moment, it felt something in its chest, something burning inside.

It does not know what it is, but it felt as if the world collapsing around it and that when it realise.

Rage, the same thing Daemons felt millennia ago when they were forsaken by their own creators.

But it can do nothing, as the last of its power was stripped away from the body, Gabriel closed its eyes.

They were afraid of it, and they were fearful of their own creations.

Over millennials, Daemons have evolved to the point where they are no longer subject to the unjust killing by all other life forms.

And now with of their own kin seemingly share even the slight bit of empathy towards these creatures make them nervous.

So they cast the entities down to the bottomless pit of hell.

This decision that they will soon to regret for the rest of their eternal life.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮.

His crimson eyes suddenly lit up as he sprung from what seems to be a primitive bed made entirely out of hay and wood.

He senses something moving beyond his peripherals.

As soon as his vision clears up, he saw one female Daemon and a male Beastkin.

"It woke up!"

Said the female daemon while she stares at him.

The female daemon seems to be around twenty years of age. Her body is tanned in colour with a dark purple pupil.

Thou her cloth is ragged, her beauty still shines through it.

"I still do not understand how an undead can sleep. don't they feel no physical exhaustion?"

Beastkin question the female daemon.

The male Beastkin is around two meters in height and wears only a piece of ragged cloth around its crotch. It does not seem to mind the occasional stare from other "worker" around the resident area.

"Why are you asking me? This is my first time even seeing an undead."

"To hell with it then, can you talk? Undead? What the hell am I doing, expect-"

The beastkin suddenly question him before sitting down next to the female Daemon

"Ah yes, my apologies. I will get up now."

He said with a calm manner as he slowly gets up from the bed.

Not expecting a reply the daemon and the beastkin suddenly jump at his voice.

"Uhhhh, I've never seen a sentient undead before, what should we do Io?"

The beastkin voice shakes at the sight of the undead.

"Please do not be weary of me, I have no grudges against any of you. I know that my appearance might be somewhat of a nuisance, but I can assure you that I have no intention to harm you both physically and/or mentally."

"R-right, please to meet you Mr Undead, what should we call you?"

The male beastkin ask while standing at least two meters away from him.

The female daemon "Io" seems to be more interested as she gets closer and paces around him like a cat looking at him over.

"Undead, how did you sleep, don't you race do not experience fatigue?"

Io asks him while she keeps pacing around him.

Then she suddenly stops right in front of him, her lovely eyes that can make any male fall for her have no power in front of him.

Her sharp eyes widen as she looks deep inside his glowing crimson eyes.

She smiles as she walks closer to him step by step.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯.

His mind is conflicted, he is supposed to be undead and yet his heart racing like no tomorrow.

"Well?"

Asked Io

"Apologies, I am getting lost in your eyes. Now, where were we?

Ah yes, I have no names as such you can call me whatever you like beastkin, and to your question daemon, I still have no idea how I experience fatigue."

He replied calmly.

"!! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~!"

She tried to cover her redded face as he compliments her eyes.

"R-right, umm, I will call you undead then."

The beastkin answer as he looks at the female daemon and him back and forth.

𝘏𝘰𝘰𝘰, 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.

"Now that I answer your question, it is time you answer mine."

The undead somehow smiles, and that sends a shiver down both of them.
